It was a little smaller than I expected but it was built pretty sturdy. The instructions were easy to follow. The light is ambient and not harsh. The best part about this was the timer so I didn't have to keep switching it on and off, it simply turned off at the cycle time and turned back on at the original set time. This is a great little light for smaller plants not giant corner plants but perfect for those of us that live in the upper Midwest where we get winter 9 months out of the year so we can still enjoy a little greenery inside.

Seems to do the job. Nothing more, nothing else. Can't ask for more than that. Great for seedlings or small cacti. If for growing cannabis, it work well well for seedlings or small plants up to a foot tall.

Was very bright an worked great when I first got it, but now, a month later, it has gotten so dim. I'll be replacing it, but I wouldn't buy this same one again.Update: seller reached out and was very kind and concerned about my issue. Offered either a replacement product or a refund because the one I had must have been defective. I was definitely impressed by the commitment to customer satisfaction

Extremely bright. Several dimming levels. Worth it!

The light works great and does the job. If you want to hook it up to a timer it’s a bit of a pain. It has the dimmer and timer on the cord that only activates when you press the power button so hooking it up to a wall timer doesn’t really work and you’ll have to turn it on anyway each morning. Other than that, it’s great.

As with most things in life, you get what you pay for. I didn’t pay much for this grow light, so I can’t complain too much. In hindsight, I’d have skipped this purchase and gone with something of higher quality for an extra $10 or so. This is cheap “Made in China” junk. The clamp is so stiff that it only works on a table, or else it slips off and falls over. The lamp cannot be clamped to my plant box or planters due to this design. It’s not bright. I just don’t like it compared to my other grow lamp (only a few bucks more expensive) from Home Depot or Menards. I wish I hadn’t bought this junky leaning lamp with its weird clip, but I don’t feel like going through the hassle of a return. If I were you, I’d skip this design and just go to a home improvement or garden store to buy a nicer one for a similar price. I have a feeling this lamp is not going to last long at all, which contrasts with my other lamp that is 10+ years old and still going strong.

Clearly this was made in China. The directions were obviously written in Chinese and transferred to English. I ordered this for my indoor plants. I may have ordered it too late for them, they're all looking pretty rough but I'm also still skeptical of leaving it on when no one is home. The lights get slightly warm but not hot, I'm just paranoid about actually burning the house down and the instructions stating "SAFE! GOOD PRODUCT! SAFETY!" doesn't really put me at ease that the were actually tested to withstand 8-12 hrs of continual use. Also they don't bend any way you want. I didn't have the ability to clip it the way it sits in the picture but I thought I could bend them into place. They'll move that way but then go back to its original position.

My plants love this light and whatever my plants like, I like!
