My three year old loves it!
My three year old is in love with this game. He is able to assemble it by himself which I found surprising since I saw a number of reviews saying it was difficult to put together. I struggled the first time I put it together but I guess kids learn quick! The launcher is a little difficult to "load" however after showing him how to press it on the floor he is able to do that by himself as well. The flags are made of cardboard and very flimsy, they have already been destroyed by little brother. Another issue is the size of the pigs. They are very small and definitely a hazard to small children if they're still putting things in their mouth. I believe the game was rated for 8 and above but can be used for smaller children as long you're aware of the small pigs.

Hard to get the ship to stay together
My two kids (ages 6 and 3) really love this game. Basically, you build the ship and launch cars at it, trying to knock it down. You get points for hitting the pigs and cannons, flags, etc. It's fun to the build the ship and change it around a little to make things interesting, i.e. place pigs and cannons in different places for different games. It's a little hard for the 3 year old to manipulate the car and the launcher - definitely someone older needs to help.My biggest complaint is that it is somewhat difficult to construct the ship without it collapsing. The largest pieces up top have plastic hooks for lack of a better word, but they don't join together well and it makes it hard to stabilize the game. It's annoying enough that I usually suggest another game to my kids. There is an Angry Birds Death Star game that is similar, but includes a frame to hold the construction together until it is firmly in place. That one is much easier to use and just as fun.

Hard to put together, but fun to play
Since it is meant to fall apart while playing, it can be tough for little ones to assemble every 5 minutes as the parts don't really hold together too well. The boat (dark brown part) assembles in 5 pieces - the bottom part is 2 big pieces that don't have anything to keep them together and then there are 3 small brick sized pieces that connect the top together and they are kept in place by small tabs. The flags are paper cut outs so they are 2D, not 3D like real flags as I would've expected. The launch stations are harder for little ones to load as the red part is spring loaded and little ones might have a hard time pushing the button all the way in to lock it in place.Still my 4 year old loves playing this thing, I just wish he could be more self sufficient playing with it as I bore of the frustration assembling it every few minutes.

He had fun with this game for about a week or two
This was a Christmas present for my 5 yr old. He had fun with this game for about a week or two, it's more trouble than it's worth. It's just a bunch of plastic blocks that you have to very carefully stack for them which takes forever, and then it gets knocked down in less than one second and you have to start over. We spent way more time building it for him than actually playing. Maybe for an older child this would be fine because they can build it themselves and can handle the "slingshot" better. Mine just got frustrated with the slingshot and ended up throwing birds at it. It's been several months now and it is just taking up room in a large storage basket, his cousins come over all the time and NONE of them really like playing with it.

10 minutes of frustration for 5 seconds of fun
The concept of the game is good, and for little kids it's a blast. The downside is the set-up. The boat does hold together very well, and I might very well modify it to that the main part stays together. The slightest bump while you are setting it up can cause it to fall completely apart. It can be a royal pain when your little one is waiting ever so patiently (yeah right) for you to get it set up so that they can smash it in 5 seconds. If it didn't fall apart so easily when setting it up I would have gave it more starts because my grand daughter absolutely loves the game...Pro - quick fun for little kidsCon - falls apart to easily while trying to set it up. poor design.

I figured out a trick on putting this together
My 10 year old son bought this with his Christmas money, but only after I read the reviews first. I tried to get him to choose something else after reading about other people's frustrations, but he would not be dissuaded. It came today, and of course we were frustrated putting it together. But if you put a piece of masking tape between the two large dark pieces at the bottom, where it connects to the blue base, so it stays together, it is so much easier for my son to put it together. I believe another reviewer also stated to add the top bridge at the end, and I agree.Tape the two large pieces together, add the blocks, then the bridge, and finish with the character pieces. Once we figured it out he had fun with it. It takes him about 1-2 minutes to set up, and 1-2 minutes to shoot the birds at it. He likes it!

Santa brought this for my 8 year old son this year
He squealed in delight and jumped up and down after receiving this long awaited Christmas gift. He played with it for hours on Christmas morning, and had a blast. The frame of the ship helps it stay together while you build it, (it still takes a steady, careful hand to get it built, but it was better than I thought it would be) and the car catapults made it SO much easier than the original angry birds at home game. The ship did not break apart in one go, so he was able to hit it several times before we had to rebuild it. This was by far, his favorite Christmas gift.

I believe like a lot of these games the go app link ...
Well worth the money at the reduced price. I believe like a lot of these games the go app link has or will shortly expire, hence the price reduction, but that doesn't really matter. It's a complete game without the computer side. Great for the kids to have fun while learning the basics of ballistics :D

loved playing with this
My little boy, who is 8, loved playing with this. It's a big smaller than it looks and fairly fiddly to set up each time but he loves cars and he loves angry birds so he didn't mind.
