Can more than one set be connected together?

The 4 sets that my daughters has does not connect together

Whats the weight each clip can handle if i wanted to hang something other than a photo?

I used them over the holidays to hang Christmas cards and they worked well for that. I don't know what the maximum weight would be.

No, photo clips string lights clips are not removable or adjustable.

I pressed the timer button and it kept turning on at random moments. how do I turn off the timer function so it doesn’t keep turning on?

If you push the timer button again it should be off but your remote for your television will also turn them off and on. I have a Visio and the remote works the lights. So that could be the problem.
