Bought these to help me get through a Mountain series Spartan Sprint and they held up perfectly! Being compression socks, they were a bit difficult to get on and off as the fabric is knit very tightly, but once they were on they felt like a second layer of skin. They didn't budge at all from my calves even as I trekked through miles of thick mud and freezing water; the lack of cotton in the fabric must've helped. The socks themselves don't seem to have much grip or specific padding at the sole of the foot, but overall that did not impact my performance and my feet were snug inside my shoes. If you are looking for socks for an OCR, even if you are a beginner, I would recommend these! (Especially at their affordable price point.) I'm certain that I would've cramped much more and the race would've been much soggier without them.

Feels great deadlifting with these. Protects the shins and aren’t aggressive in compression. It was a bit hard sliding these down through the entire foot but easy to get around the calves. I have slightly above average sized calves for 5’7” 185 lbs. size 9 shoe. Recommend getting a large.

I bought these socks for an upcoming Tough Mudder run because I wanted something which would protect my legs, keep them warm and help cushion my feet. Mission accomplished on all three! The socks stayed up the entire time, kept my feet and legs pretty dry until I actually ended up fully submerged, and they worked really well in combination with my Salomon Speedcross 3 Trail Running Shoes. With all the various things I ran into, over and through during the run, my shins and feet suffered no cuts, scrapes or blisters. Definitely worth purchasing if you're going to do any sort of mud run or trail run.

These are the first pair of compression socks i’ve Owned and as soon as they came out of the box, I tried them on and the fit and finish were great. After reading reviews prior to purchasing, I decided to order a slightly smaller size (I wear shoe size 10 but ordered 9.5) and it was a great idea. The only issue I had and the reason for the 4 stars is because they felt like they just slid into the shoe with no grip. Otherwise, this far I am happy I got a pair of these and will be using them for an upcoming Beast race.

Great socks for powerlifting! My son says they are comfortable and protect his legs when doing dead lifts.

I now wear only Vibram FiveFinger shoes but had ordered these socks a couple of years ago for Spartan racing before I went totally to nothing but FiveFingers. I had never wore them because I tend to run hot temperature wise. I did a Spartan Beast on November 23 in pouring cold rain and decided to finally wear these with my shorts. However, I faced the problem of them not having individual toes for my shoes. Then I thought I would cut the toes out and see how they would do and even if they unraveled it would be ok because they've just been in a drawer for exactly 2 years. Thus I cut the toes out and wore them for the Beast. They were AWESOME!! They helped my legs keep from getting as scratched up over walls, traverse rope, etc. They also kept my lower legs warmer. After I peeled them off after the race I was surprised to see no unraveling whatsoever. The following day when I washed my race gear in the washer I was even more surprised to see that they did NOT unravel in the wash either. Thus I have toeless socks for my next cool/cold Spartan race and I am about to buy another pair as well. I wear a size small and wear European 37 in Vibrams, US 5.5-6.5 depending on the brand if I were to ever wear non-toes.

I just received these socks a few days ago and I decided to put them through a couple of workouts just to see how they'd do. Like most compression socks they were a little tough to put on. Running was a joy and my calves felt great. They fit well without any signs of blisters. They're light enough to be cool and cushioned in the right places. I've been working on double-unders and they really do cut most of the sting out of missed double-unders. So far I'm really happy with them. I plan to buy another pair though I wish they came in other colors.

Great socks for OCR! I just wore these to the Chicago Savage Race and they did awesome. Not too tight, good padding while still being fairly lightweight. I will be buying another pair of these soon! Also the price is very good for the quality!
