Good when it works, which it sometimes does.
Just can't keep this online with Smartthings. It works well initially, then just goes offline and no longer communicates with Smartthings. I have another Siren (different brand) that also reports as offline, but when I do a monthly test - it always goes off. This siren however, usually goes offline and really is. I test once a month, this worked the first month and that was it. I can reset it and it'll work for a couple weeks then stop again. New batteries, new device handlers, putting it 10 feet from the hub, nothing seems to help. I thought it was a good deal, but sadly it has failed to function well. When it does work, the siren is plenty loud and jarring as it should be. We had a fire and it did not go off, just sat there offline when the other Siren plus all of our phones did. Luckily, the other Siren works reliably. Wanted to like it.Oh, I'm using it on battery power. I never tried it with a power supply plugged in, perhaps that would be more reliable, don't know. I've made sure the battery levels are all good when it has been unresponsive, dead batteries was not the cause of the unreliability.

This siren is loud!!! ...but easy to pair with a SmartThings hub.
The media could not be loaded. I bought this siren so I could have a remote siren connected to my SmartThings hub and it works and I have intended. It paired very easily and SmartThings recognized it almost instantly. The device is extremely lout when you have it set to the 100 db. setting. What I liked about the product:1. It was easy to pair.2. It is very loud, but there is a jumper that sets it to 90 db which is better if it is going to be in a central location.3. It can be mounted almost anywhere since it is wireless and battery operated.4. The tamper can be disabled.5. You can connect an optional power supply if you do not want to rely on batteries.6. SmartThings App does read the battery level. What can use improvement:1. The instructions were informative in some aspects and in other aspects they left me scratching my head.2. It is larger than one might expect.3. The strobe would not necessarily get your attention in daylight.4. No alert sent to SmartThings app when tampered.I honestly would have rated higher, but the instructions were lacking on the dip switch settings, so I had to tinker with the device in order to figure out what the settings actually did. The top jumper will set the sound to 100db or 90 db. You need to remove the jumper for 90 db operation. The instructions list this as Two-Phase Sound Jumper Link which made me think it changed the sound frequency rate, but instead it is the sound level. The bottom jumper is a bit more obvious and it is labeled Tamper Jumper link. Remove the jumper to inhibit a siren alert when the cover is removed. I would rather have a notification to my ST app than an ear piercing siren going off in my ear when I need to remove the cover. I know many people would use this feature if it would be mounted in an area prone to tampering, so I agree it needs to be a feature. I mainly wish the instruction just listed the settings and what is changed by removing the jumper. It could easily be done as follows:Two-Phase Sound Jumper Link:On = 100 db sound level.Off = 90 db sound levelTamper Jumper Link:On = Audible Alert When Tampered.Off = No Alert When Tampered.Overall I am happy with the device and I would recommend it to anyone. Hopefully my review will help people in the future when they are setting up their siren.

Ear piercing loud to scare off anybody!
I added a pair of these to my alarm using z-wave. One in the garage and one in the hallway. They are very loud and will surely be heard by anyone within or nearby outside of my home. Great theft deterrent on top of the monitoring service. They were also very easy to add to my alarm from alarm.com using the 2 gig panel. I recommend this product. They use batteries and I haven't needing to replace them over 4 months now since alarm siren does not go off very often. Great addition to the alarm!

Save yourself the money and trouble and don't buy this product
This thing was a complete waste of money. We bought it to pair with our Smartthings hub for better home security and it worked fine for about 2 months. After the 2 months, we noticed it never went off like it was supposed to and decided to investigate further. Ultimately, we discovered that the siren was indeed going off, but the sound level was so low that the siren was nearly inaudible. We thought that it might need new batteries, so we went out and picked up new batteries for it. Sadly, that did not correct the problem and now our siren is useless because you have to literally put your ear against the siren to hear it.To make matters worse, the "Everspring" company who makes this product has no customer service. Like, their customer service is NONEXISTENT. When you go to the company's website, the only phone number they provide is for a number in Taiwan. They do have an email contact form, which I submitted...it has been over 2 months and I haven't heard from them yet.We will certainly not buy anything from this company again.

Works with WINK - PARTIALLY
I connected this to my WINK hub. Process was to add it as a SWITCH..follow process and hit button in back three times quickly. It added it and recognized it as a siren surprisingly. That is the good news. You can toggle it on or off manually. The bad news is that it won't work correctly with Wink Robot functionality. Please log this request with WINK if you are interested. The Device itself seems good...just the lack of WINK integration knocks it down to a 3 star for me.
