This author is the one you want on your side when doing a 1031 exchange. The book is easy to read, gives good clear examples, is comprehensive, and thorough on the subject. I like how he advises on following the 45 day and 180 day rule strictly. Additionally the examples of the rulings by the IRS on people who tried to cheat the system where detailed and informative.The book is well worth the price if you are doing just one 1031 exchange or many. He talks about how important your choice of the qualified intermediary is to the success or failure of your 1031 exchange. Don't be foolish and think you don't need the books guidance and that your intermediary has your best interest in mind, as he points out most are Not regulated.

Sounds nefarious. Sounds Orwellian. But 1031 exchanges are absolutely legal and available to all real estate entrepreneurs to access. The author, Gary Gorman, presents this financial education material in an easy to read and understand format. Well worth the fiat currency I paid for it with.

EXCELLENT book on how to do a 1031. We are in the middle of ours - this book gave us the courage to go for it and made it all very clear. The author has an engaging, non-technical style. This book is written for anyone.In fact, we were so impressed with the book we hired Gary Gorman's company as our QI. If you are new to doing a 1031, or are nervous about it, this book makes it clear and helps you know what steps to take.

Condition was ok. Acceptable. It came one week late. Planned to have it for vacation. Came after I came back home. Not happy about that. Content was good for me who I WAS NOT FIMILIAR WITH THIS TOPOC AT ALL.

If you're going to do it, he's your guy! Everything is here. He writes clear understandable english, tells you how to work it to your favor and he knows the law! I am doing it now and the holding company warned me of all the pitfalls that he already explained and then asked me what book I read because I had it right!

This book answers all of the questions I had about doing a 1031 exchange. It addresses many special situations and cases and is very complete. However chapter 21 of the 2005 version is out-of-date and needs to be rewritten to reflect changes in section 121, sale of personal residence.

This book is packed FULL of useful information. I had markups on nearly every page. Interesting read. It was absolutely invaluable as I worked through my 1031 exchanges. Highly recommend.

Good read for anyone doing their first 1031 exchange. This is my first and I have the book very helpful. Price, product and delivery all excellent.
