After installing one of these great devices in each of my teenagers Mini Coopers...I decided to try this in my 2009 998 Carerra...so I could listen to Apple Music through my BT. It works!! Super simple to set up and connects easily! Great inexpensive solution!!

I have a 2011 BMW 3 series, need a way to stream music (Pandora & Spotify) from my iPhone to the speakers of my car. This works great. Fortunately, another reviewer left directions on how to install, as there were no instructions that came with it. I plugged it in and it wasn't working initially so I reviewed the instructions posted by another reviewer that you have to go to settings and connect it with your phone... :-) (I thought it just connected automatically) Once I did that, it worked great! Sound quality is really good as well. Also, other reviewers say that they hear a voice indicating that it is connected every time they start their car, but mine doesn't do that.

Giving it 4 stars mostly because it really needs an on/off switch. If you leave it plugged in all the time the battery on the car is going to die. So you have to remove the USB every time you get out of the car. This may be more a feature of the Mini being annoying about keeping the USB powered when the car is off... but it should take that into account in my opinion. Other than that it works great for my daughter to stream music from her phone to her 2013 Cooper S.

Works great in my 2011 BMW 7 series Once paired with your phone, it starts up quickly and simply. Once ignition is started it is up and running almost instantly! Very pleased

Item showed up in a dirty and ragged clear plastic bag. Inside the bag was the adapter and xeroxed instructions that had been crossed out in sections by hand. After following the instructions included the unit never powered up or connected in any way. Returned to Amazon who refunded the purchase.

Plug and play idiot proof super easy sounds great in my 2008 BMW X5. playing Bluetooth audio from phone through speakers pretty banging not much loss of clarity and loudness compared to car audio

This worked great in my 2012 Mini Cooper Clubman S. Exactly what I was needing, connects perfectly every time and good quality. NOTE the through USB power output turns off the bluetooth signal so you can't listen and charge phone at the same time. At least that I haven't been able to figure out.

Okay. This does work. But I purchased for a 2012 Mini which doesn’t do Bluetooth music, only phone. This device picks up the Bluetooth and transmits it via the 1/8” Aux cord. The music comes through very faint, so I have to very high volume to hear it at a normal level. Also, the device stays powered as long as it’s plugged in to a USB. There is no switch to completely turn it off and not drain the car battery when the engine is off. Wouldn’t buy again, but maybe it’s suitable for your needs?
