Super Nintendo Turbo Controller (AsciiPad)

if you still play your SNES you know those original controllers are amazing at how long they last but they eventually DO wear out. luckily if you can find one of these they are actually even BETTER than the original ones. the response time just seems more on point. they took a great controller and just improved it in every way. and now i dont have to break my hand trying to beat the Test your Might in Mortal Kombat!

I bought this used and it works as if it was brand-new. The plastic still has that rough texture to it, a feel that turns to smooth after long-term use. It was even in its original box. I couldn't be happier with the seller or the product. This must be a 20 year-old controller that was kept in immaculate condition. Would recommend the seller and this product to anyone who wants to take nostalgic Nintendo trip with their old SNES.

Had one as a kid, very useful on SNES, still useful today on a SNES, on such games as Contra 3 Alien Wars, Street Fighter 2.

Pros:This is an awesome SNES controller. It is stamped with Nintendo's "Official Seal of Quality." And a quality controller it is. Everything looks great, feals great, responds fast, and uses interchangeable internal parts. This means nintendo provided manufacturing assistance in it's production supplying components for original controllers to be used in this officially licenced 3rd party one. NOT A KNOCK OFF BOOTLEG! On the back it says "made in Japan". You can interchange the colored buttons, rubber contacts, shulder bouttons, etc from this controller to the official north american release. Give your original controller the look of a super famicom controller if you like. You can even interchange the NES and Game Boy buttons with minimal modification.Cons:Be careful who you buy it from! Mine was described as "Used: Like New". Although it was in it's original packaging (without seal), the controller did not work at all. Moreover, it rattled with broken plastic inside and was cosmetically displeasing. After opening it I descovered 2 screw standoffs were broken off explaining the rattling, residue from an oilly sticky substance, residue form the player's hands, and yellowed plastic. After cleaning, reconnecting a wire that had come loose, and a few other necessary fixes, I was able to restore the product to a "used, good condition". It works fine and looks good now. There realy is very little to complain about regarding the product on its own right and would really be dependent on your superficial preferences.

The button placement is great, but I received the MadCatz version and I don't care for it as much as the AsciiPad. I used to have one of these as a kid, and they make button mashing shooters so much easier on the thumbs. The MadCatz version places the L & R buttons along side the ABXY buttons, making this like a 6 button face, with extra L & R shoulder tabs.I actually prefer this button layout when playing fighters, and I use this in conjunction with my SNES to Gamecube converter to play Sega Genesis titles on my Wii. Since I didnt have a good 6 button Gen controller, and this is more ergonomicThe Ascii version is more durable IMO, but if you can get the MadCatz version, it is great for a fighter or flight shooter pad. I am not as impressed by the D-Pad on the MadCatz version, but the controller is solid no matter which brand you acquire.Just be aware of which you are purchasing, because there are differences in form and performance.to summarize:MadCatz = 6 button arcade fighter layout, less secure D-Pad, slightly different form factor.AsciiPad Version = Standard 4-Button layout, more secure D-Pad, Familiar SNES layout (with an exception for the fatter middle where the turbo controls reside)Both are great controllers, but if you dont play fighters, go for the AsciiPad version whenever possible.

This controller may be refurbished as I saw tamper evidence inside it but if it is, it was done well and with. The correct parts. Works great. One of the best controllers ever

My favorite SNES controller ever. The adjustable turbo controls are perfect. I would buy them all if I had the money.

Il s'agit de la manette turbo officielle pour la Super NES. La marque de la manette est ASCIIWARE, ils ont une licence de Nintendo pour produire cette manette. Pour les boutons A, B, Y, L et R il y a un commutateur qui permet de régler deux modes de turbo pour chacun de ses boutons. Le premier mode permet d'utiliser le turbo lorsque le bouton est enfoncé et le deuxième mode, permet l'utilisation du turbo quand le bouton n'est pas enfoncé, et s'annule lorsque l'on appuie sur le bouton.

Achat d'une manette trubo pour ma Snes, et là je reçois une manette dont les boutons tubos ne fonctionnent pas !!!Manette expédié de Tunisie dans une enveloppe craft simple et du papier bulle.... autant dire qu'avec son voyage l'enveloppe est dans un état déplorable...Très déçu !

Excellente manette officielle turbo pour les jeux de combat sur la console super nintendo avec les fonctions auto et turbo.

livraison rapide à part ça rien à dire la dessus en qui concerne la manette par moment elle marche bien est par moment elle déconne
