Blew my son's mind.
This truck is awesome. Even I almost want to play with it. It feels really solid and has a nice weight to it. It has a bunch of slots for the rest of the Paw Patrol crew. The ladder extends and also feels solid and well built. The head can be separated from the back piece. As you cans see, it has a mini vehicle which comes out and feels like an extra toy. The water guns (a 3 shooter on the front and 1 on the rear) and ladder are a nice touch in terms of accessories. It also makes noises but they aren't obnoxiously loud or anything and only activate by pressing the button, not movement (like the Deluxe PJ mask vehicles). It moves very well on tile or carpet. My son has a lot of fun with it and initially when we opened the box, his mind was blown. All he kept saying was "omigosh, omigosh, omigosh!", "Thank you Dadddddyyy!".Now, my son's gotten some big toys. Admittedly I spoil him. But he's been on a fire truck thing for a while (since local firefighters) visited his school and he loves Paw Patrol so I put 2 and 2 together. He saw a Paw Patrol Ultimate Rescue episode and fell head over heels in love with the fire truck. Me and my son, we have this bribery type of relationship where he does something I want him to do and he gets something he wants, straight up. I also feel OK with this because he bounces around, unlike some kids that will just stop playing with something and move on completely. He goes back to his older beloved toys time and time again.I know, probably a terrible lesson but it works for me. He's got his Mom to, I don't know, do better I guess - balance it out or whatever. I'm impatient. I love my son but I want him to pull ahead, you know? Anyway, for me the bribery really works. I got him to switch from pampers to briefs and potty trained him (including cleaning himself, btw) in record time when she couldn't with her methods, ha! I got him more interested in reading, etc this way when she couldn't!, ha!x2. This toy was a reward for him cleaning up after himself. So, he eats then he takes his stuff to the sink, throws refuse in the garbage, plays with toys, puts them back (this one we're still working on) and taking clothes off and putting them where they belong vs. leaving it on the floor. I call this progress for a 4 year old, no? He's always been a rewards based kid so I'm taking advantage of it while I can. I always have the next toy lined up for him here on Amazon so when I need to get him to do something, the second he does it he gets a reward. The good thing is that it sticks and he generally keeps doing it. I know some kids will get their precious and then go right back to not doing something or just regress. If he shows signs of regression, I simply bargain with him and he knows there are consequences for not keeping his part of the deal, that being I have the ability to take away his most treasured toy of the hour, day, week, etc. In my defense, I won't be buying him a car or anything like that later on so let's just say he gets to enjoy all these bribes while he can. He'll be learning later on that it won't work for everything :) Also, as soon as he turns 5 I'll be using charts and stuff for his rewards so he'll understand that he'll be needing to do more things to earn them.Anyway, get this truck - you won't regret it.

A BIG toy that offers BIG fun!
Bought for my 3 1/2 year old for Christmas. This thing is HUGE so you need a decent sized room to store/play with it. It comes with 1 fire character but we had characters from other things so we made it work. It’s a little hard to operate without adult help. The ladder goes up and down and my son can’t do this on his own. He loves all the compartments and the “water cannons” but they do shoot a pretty good distance so be careful if you have younger siblings or pets that might get into them. Overall a toy that’s big on size but offers a lot of play time and options! You just might have to help them bring the ladder up and down.

Looks great
I bought this for my soon to be 5 year old grandson - who requested it. He hasn't received the gift yet, but from what I can tell, he's going to be a very happy boy! My only complaint is, for the price ($59 before taxes), it should come with the COMPLETE set of puppies! You only get Marshall. Besides that, I think it seems great, and is going to be a big hit!

My grandson said, "I'm so happy!"
This is the only gift my grandson wanted for his 6th birthday. The price on Amazon was much less expensive than at the store, and it arrived within two days! He was ecstatic when he opened it! It has so many features, and I was surprised to see that it even came with all of the Paw Patrol figures. Even his sisters were interested in it, and they all had fun playing with it together. This is a pricey toy, but I highly recommend it!

Lots of bang for the toddler bucks
The media could not be loaded. Granddaughter loves this. Almost 4 years old, she loves paw patrol everything. IT DOES HAVE LIGHTS AND SOUNDS. Description did not state clearly. Easy to unbox , thanks for not over packaging. Has one figure Marshall only. Extending the ladder and unlocking the cab is difficult for really young toddlers, 3 and under. She did have enough determination to jar it loose. Its not a tonka and some accessories are flimsy, so breakage will be unavoidable with abuse. Its so cool tug though..Paw patrol we'll be there on the double, no job is too big, no pup is too small.!!!!.

Kids love it
I bought for 3 year old nephew and his cousin loved it too. In fact his cousin woke up crying cause he said his cousin wouldn’t let him play with it. So I bought him one of his own. Then recently purchased for 5 year old autistic nephew and his father said that is the only toy that he will play with over watching TV. Worth every penny if they are happy!

Great big gift
This thing is just slightly smaller than a small tricycle. Durable aside from the hose, and has room to add many of the other Paw Patrol figures on the various stations on the fire engine.
