We use this for our outdoor string lights on our deck and works really well. The remote to turn on/off is great, hanging on a keychain right inside the door, so it makes it easy for on/off during the night. Easy installation and although it's waterproof, we do keep the outside adapter in a plastic bag to keep the water/elements away. Great product!

This was 5 star rated because it came with this little remote control that that I could turn it on and off with. The remote has a timer too! Timer was working perfectly for a month or so. Not anymore. I still turn it on and off with the remote. I just have to turn it off before I go to bed versus timing it to go off in 4 hours. I can still set a time on the actual Timer that's plugged in. I just really liked that remote control timer feature.

The first timer the remote did not work , so in calling the customer service, they replaced the entire unit which works well. There customer service is excellent.

I have had this now since late spring/early summer 2024 and I live in a Canadian climate. I can honestly say this is a great product. First, it holds up to weather. I have not had any issues at all in terms of cold or rain (it's now December) I used this every single day during the late spring all the way into late fall for our outdoor lights and fan in our outdoor living room and now out the front for our Christmas lights. The remote works through a brick wall which is amazing. I don't have to step outside to turn it on or off. This has a few settings, just plain on and off, it also has from dusk until dawn which, in my opinion could be a little more light sensitive and also hour options. The hour options are what I use the most, especially for the Christmas lights out front. The absolute best part of this is that it has an internal clock so I set my lights to go on at a certain time by pressing "on" then the "8 hr" button and they turn on and off each day at the same time, without me having to turn them on again each day and hit the 8 hrs again. This is a great product and after the use it's given without a hitch, I highly recommend it. Also priced very well.

Once I found a spot to hang this, I can count on the lights to come on or go off as programmed. In the winter months, the remote will come in handy.
