Rain Bird100-DVF,1 inch BSPF 24vac Solenoid Valve

Bought 6 of these in 2014. Lasted up til 2023. One valve has a bad solenoid (the threaded part busted so I can't screw it into the valve body; the electrical part of the solenoid is still okay). Other 5 valves are still working okay. I think that's a pretty good track record. I noticed they changed the solenoid style away from a gun grip, but I expect the new style solenoid should screw right in to the old body so that I don't need to redo the whole plumbing on that one valve.

I put in a new 800 sq ft garden. These values allowed me to adjust the flow rate as well as on/off. Raised beds with different soil mixture and plant need different watering times and schedules which help me conserve water. Will buy two more soon.

Ordered these to replace leaking valves in my box, after the system was neglected by the previous owners of my house, ordered Sunday and received the valves Thursday, valve was different then the one pictured, but the description did state that it was a (female)threaded connection instead of the (barbed/Male thread) connection, which was a blunder on my part but easy enough for me to fix with a quick stop at the hardware store, over all just what i needed to finish leak proofing my sprinkler system
