Delphi GN10572 12B1 Ignition Coil

Perfect fit for 2011 Peugeot 508 1.6thp, - all working fine

looks to be OE replacement for BMW engines and worked fine since installation.

Replaced an unknown brand of ignition coils, after one fell apart during a spark plug service. These Delphi ones are OEM to companies like BMW/Mini. They are very high quality, fit perfectly and bring back some performance.

The plug fitting looks the same as fitted to my Z4 3.0si but there's a little peg that stops it going together. Amazon had it listed as compatible but alas no Otherwise looked good and dimensions appeared good, but couldn't try it...

The coil packs are a great name and good quality too, unfortunately they didn't fit my car..even though I had input all my vehicles info and it stated they did. Disappointed

I bought this as a spare, as coil pack failures are fairly common on a cooper s. Ended up giving it to a friend. It lasted 3 months before the upper rubber boot perished, eventually causing the ECU to shut down the injector on that cylinder and damage the sparkplug. £100 later in spark plugs and a new injector. On visual comparison, they're not the same as genuine Delphi. The obvious giveaways are; The outer metal casing appears to be a different grade of steel. The resin is black instead on white. If you notice either of these things, send it straight back.
