Fits over back / arm muscles.
My husband has a large upper body and smaller waist with a belly. He normally wears XL tees that are high on arms. He was able to fit in this. I wouldn't recommend working out on it but overall it does the trick. It seems a bit warm as it has some sort of plasticky lining. We are using it for a Doc Brown costume. My husband is like 5'6 ish and 215 lbs. which gave enough space to move in.

Use for people entering my home
Have not used yet but better to have than not have just in case.Thought I would be wearing it, however I will make anyone that comes into my home wear before entering my home.

Worked fine for a costume
Worked fine for a costume. Only complaint is that I'm 6'3" and even with the extra large it rode a bit high.

Perfect for a Doc Brown costume
Purchased as a Halloween Doc Brown (from Back to the Future) costume for my son. He added the nuclear sign on the back, and orange duct tape for the pocket-marks and leg-stripes. With big yellow Playtex HandSaver Gloves (also marked nuclear) and a mad scientist wig everybody knew what he was. Good cheap option for this costume.

If you are long wasted, this may be short in the torso.

Not recommended for actual painting - and have safety pins handy for anything else
Bought this as part of a bee keeper costume - Lord help you if you actually tried to paint something in this thing! My husband didn't even make it out of the house before the zipper completely broke off. So he looked like something of an exposed bee keeper with his net hat, t-shirt, and white coverall tied at the waist. I suppose you get what you pay for - but dang. Quality was pretty bad! Have safety pins handy. :-)For sizing reference, he is about 6'2 and shy of 200lbs, and the XL was too small, length-wise.

A tight fit.
Was for a halloween costume. It was a little small for me (6' 4" 230lbs), but some white duct tape and I could use it for one day.

a little thin
this coverall is marginal in thickness/quality. tough to really write a detailed review on it. it will work as a one use suit-- so if that is what you need, go for it.

I would not recommend for use to protect your clothes at all
Way too thin, most were a one use. I bought the for costumes in a musical so it wasn't too big a problem if they didn't zip, which some zippers broke immediately, or ripped, which some did immediately too. I would not recommend for use to protect your clothes at all.

Okay for one-time use. Doesn't breath too well

Wear this and drive your wife mad!
I'm 6'3", built like a track star and this fits. It also fits over my clothes.I bought this at the request of my wife. She says I look really good in it.I'll stop there.

It worked well for a little while, but then ...
It worked well for a little while, but then it ripped down all the seams. I didn't even bend over or do extensive tasks. I used it for a Halloween costume, just walking around, and it ripped down the crotch and under the arms.

I'm a 6'3 male and the XL was too short for me. I would hardly classify this as extra large.
