Northcore Waxed Canvas Adventure Roll

No problem with the price. This is an edited review. My first review was a bit negative, as to the size. It is a water resitant canvas on the ground side, wool on the top side. Doesn't list an R value. But I believe it to be close to or on the money to r 1.5.

Well made, durable, a decent length for a 6'4 guy like myself. So good in fact someone snagged it out of my car during a break in along with my wool blanket that I used with it.

Got what I expected. While it was waxed on the back, it was minimal. Moisture was still able to be absorbed into the material when it was dripped on. This could indicate that applying pressure from the body would cause it to absorb more. However, I bought this assuming this would be the case, so I went ahead and purchased fabric wax as well. I have not applied it yet, but for now, I will mention the good parts. Pros: + When laid out, it meets a size fit for 6ft 235lb guys, but when rolled up, it is small, lightweight, and easy to carry. + It acts as a good wind barrier, and the liner is comfortable and warm. Cons: - While the size is good, I wish it were a little larger so I could wrap it around my body to enhance the warmth, but it's not bad for the size. - One of the buckles on the leather straps is a little hard to undo - Previously mentioned waxing All around, I believe you get what you pay for, and for this, I believe the price was fair, so the product is fair.

This product is a tough and very well made! I could have just taken it off the back of a Horse from the 1800's and wouldn't see a difference!!! I'm Very happy with this purchase!

This thing is legit. It's exactly what you need for a moisture barrier and small amount of insulation. My woobie rolls up inside perfectly and this is now part of my go bag strategy.

I got this for camping and hiking. It’s lightweight but heavy duty and far nicer than a tarp.

Why would you advertise it folded over ,as if its twice as large. duh I get it!.. Skimpy wanna be thin as could be $125 rip off...

Il telo è robusto e fatto bene. Anche le cuciture. Purtroppo NON è cerato. Il cotone (canvas) non è trattato. Ho dovuto comprare la cera a parte e procedere alla sua applicazione. Un lavoraccio di 1 ora. Il titolo del prodotto è quindi fuorviante: NO waxed. Comunque, una volta finito, il prodotto è esattamente come volevo. Adesso potrà proteggermi dall’eventuale brina/umidità del terreno.

Great Quality groundcloth, not the lightest and NOT WAXED as advertised, that's why i deduct one star (for the untruth). You have to wax it yourself, which adds some weight too. You don't have to use the high quality leather straps, that'll save some weight too.

This is a beautiful. Truly a thing to treasure. Great quality, beautifully constructed. The leather straps make it just that little bit extra special. Yes, it's expensive but the quality is far superior to the usual readily available picnic blankets and it will out live me I'm sure. Right, the moment the lockdown lifts, I'm off for a mini adventure :)

Exceptional quality and ideal for a picnic for two. What a pity it’s so narrow only suitable as a single ground sheet. How about making a double width one Northcore , or a sleeping bag sleeve ?
