They should match the switches on the transmitter inside the ceiling fan. As long as the fan has the receiver in it this remote will work with your Hampton Bay ceiling fans. Just remember to set the 4 dip switches inside the battery compartment(they are kinda hidden behind the slot for the battery itself). Look inside the old remote with the battery cover off, there is a series of "DIP" switches(4) with a pen. Slide the switches in the new remote to match the same pattern as the old remote. Replace the battery in the new remote and things should work. There are 16 different frequencies for the Hampton Bay fans, so you would have to play with the combinations. Doesn't work
Junk. I received today and put the dip switches in the same position as the current one, and couldn't get the fan to register either. Bought brand new batteries for the just to confirm and still no luck. Move on and don't waste your time.

Looks and works just like the original 2 remotes. Arrived quick in perfect condition. Easy to program to match the 2 fifteen year old remotes.

Easy to set up
Very happy with these! Our new house came without remotes for the fans and these were excellent replacements. We have two fans right next to each other and these were easy to adjust. Probably had them both up and running in 5 minutes. I also like that you can mount the holder to the wall.

No dimming function
Received these today and despite everything showing it can be used as dimmable— no such luck. Very frustrating and will be returning for a product that does dim lights

Just like the original!
This ceiling fan remote control is just like the original. It looks the same, and works the same. I wish I had replaced our old one much sooner - the buttons were getting hard to connect. I'm extremely satisfied!
