I had to pack my family of 5 for a 5 day cruise in as few suitcases as possible. To add to that already challenging task, we hadn’t been on a cruise in a decade and while I knew I COULD just pack super light and wing it, I really wanted to feel like we had everything we might want or need… for swimming, excursions, formal evenings, casual days, sleep, etc. Then there was all the shoes, toiletries, accessories, pull-ups, devices, activities/books to keep kids busy during downtime… it was a lot to work out. These vacuum bags allowed me to fit SO MUCH more in. I was able to fit everything in 2 large suitcases and 3 carry ons and I am 100% sure I couldn’t have without the bags. For the amount of clothes that one side of a large suitcase would normally fit, I was able to put that into a bag and then stack 2-3 bags on one side instead. Wow! The large bags are definitely the best as they are enormous. But it is nice to have variety. Highly recommend if you’re in a sticky packing situation. They also turned out to be useful after a couple days on the ship as we were able to use them to separate out dirty laundry, wet swimsuits etc and then pack them in those same vacuum bags for the trip home to keep them totally separated from clean clothes. Its great that they don’t require an actual vacuum too; I imagine these don’t shrink down quite as much as they would with a vacuum but it’s really impressive how much they do just by hand.

I bought them for a trip and we did not want to check bags. We each had our own backpack and with these space saver bags we were able to get a weeks worth of cloths in our backpacks! I was skeptical that I could use them again but from other reviews I decided to give them a try. When we packed to leave the bags worked the same as the first time. Impressed these worked without a pump! I used the bigger bags to store some comforters. It has been 2 months and the comforters are still compressed in the space saver bags. I would recommend them to others that did not want to worry about a pump and storage for the pump.

These compression bags worked great for my family during our 2 week long trip! I am glad I went ahead and purchased these bags even though the reviews were mixed. I went down a star because like other reviewers mentioned, the zipper attachment on these bags that are meant to help seal the bags do fall off but as long as you are aware of this, you can keep an eye on them so you don't lose them. I didn't lose a single zipper closure attachment during my trip. I also gave this set 4 out of 5 stars because out of the 3 different sized bags you get, you really will just be able to the 2 larger sizes. The smallest bag barely holds anything and hard to fit items into the bag other than undergarments and socks. I used the large and medium sized bags for my trip and they worked great! Hopefully this set will last a while before I have to replace them.

If you don't know how to pack like me and think you need everything these bags are for you. I took so many cosplay costumes and didn't get to wear half plus my clothes. Everything fit in one medium to large suit case and one small suit case. That was cosplay outfits and clothes minus the shoes. We were driving so I had the truck for shoes. I was hooked on packing cubes until now. I wouldn't have been able to over pack with cubes. I got a set of these bags for a family member that we were meeting and when we left we packed all their clothes into 1 small suit case. When they came it was 2.25 suit cases of packing cubes!! Don't follow the video, you seal and roll from the top (the seal) down and the air hisses out. If you don't seal it tight then air leaks back in so make sure it sealed shut. There are plastic blue devices that I guess are supposed to help but they just fall off. It's a bit hard to get the air out at the end. I roll it on the floor or the corner of a study table and press down firmly as you roll it. Older folks might not have the strength to get a ton of air out, like my family member. That was about the only issue I had with them.

Did not make it easier to pack or reduce my paling

The media could not be loaded. I like to crochet hats all year and then donate them when the weather turns cold. Unfortunately, it's hard to store a couple of hundred hats for the better part of a year. This has helped a lot because it takes up a lot less room. I was able to store several hats in a single bag in almost half the space. It also keeps out bugs, dust, and moisture. The best part is that I don't need to use the vacuum to suck the air out. The dog usually goes crazy over the vacuum so this is a much better option. All I have to do is fill the bag, seal the top, and roll it up to squeeze out the air. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked and how easy it was to do.

We started our trip using eight bags. Half of them had broken seals for the return trip. What a waste of money. Inexpensive should not mean cheap.

The hand-rolled storage bag is a very good travel product. It can compress things and put them in the suitcase without taking up space. It is lightweight and portable, and super easy to use. Its compression effect is really great. I have recommended it to many friends, and they all say it is very practical and a good helper in life! It is a must-have travel product for everyone.
