Driving 30,000 miles a year, I learn things. Take care of them.
This is a bit of a story, so if you're looking for my opinion scroll down to the bottom of my review for the summaryI've been a Cooper loyalist more so than any other tire. Take that at face value. I think I may have owned a set of every mfg's tires at least once. I can tell you for days what not to buy, LOL. A lot of what this tire is comes down to taking care of it [them].This is my fourth set of Coopers. The reason I like them is because they do what good tires are supposed to do: keep you on the road through crappy weather, not vibrate or shimmy, stay in balance, give you reasonable tread wear life, etc. Plus they're not $200 a piece. BUT! They need babying. They handle like softer tires and have the sidewall durability you find with a lot of high-dollar crawler and severe duty tires. My first set was four A/T 3's and went on an Escape. They wore evenly until the 50% mark and then cupped and wore unevenly, increasing in noise and vibration at highway speeds. I suffered through what I thought was a bad call and almost bought some BFGs when I'd had enough and then I learned their personality. I talked Cooper people directly and they told me to rotate them more often. They also mailed me a sizable discount voucher for my next purchase of four. The second, third and fourth set were A/T 4's and the second and third set lasted ~15,000 over treadwear warranty. Here's how:I drive a lot of highway miles on my commute and do a fair bit of long-haul driving for not-work. I changed the oil in my Escape when the EMC told me it was time and that was about 5,000 miles. I rotated the tires in an X pattern every other oil change and became a zealot about checking and maintaining tire pressure. The fourth set went with the vehicle when I sold it with about 50% tread wear and they still looked and rode like new. This set is on a heavier vehicle--I now have a 2015 diesel Grand Cherokee Limited and oil changes are little less frequent at 8,000 miles. So it looks like I'll be rotating them every oil change. As for this tire specifically: They're not loud. They do make more noise than a touring tire but I find that acceptable. One thing of note--I don't see a lot of mention when debating tire value concerning rims. There's a lot of back-and-forth about steel vs. cast alloy in other circles but for the record, both vehicles I've owned that have worn these tires have alloy rims. Word to the wise: have your shop makes sure the rims are true before mounting and balancing the tires. Good shops will do it for the asking.Summary:-Check your rims before mounting the tires-Get religion about maintaining proper pressure-Take your owner's manual, turn to the maintenance section, find the recommended rotation schedule and half it.These tires are:-Handsome, good handling with great sidewalls-Somewhere on the low end of middling for road noise-inexpensive for what you get-a little better than middling for tread wear warranty

Great tire bit not made anymore
These were and are great tires. But these tires are discontinued. So if you need a new set your out of luck. And any spares you find have been on a rack aging and getting less capable of long road wear. Short answer, these were great when manufactured. But DO NOT BUY them anymore. You will never get a good new tire, its not physically possible now sorry. And if a seller says it is, then do your research and you will see it actually isnt and then change that seller rating or at least explain to them it isnt okay to sell something like this. Imagine buying a set and having 1 flat before the tread wears on the rest and now your only option is overhyked prices for used tires that hopefully match or a new looking tire for a fortune because you want 1 tire. I just went through this. If you can help it, buy a new tire that the manufacturer sells for a good price and is going to be making for the foreseeable future. Not just my opinion, but common sense.

REALLY like the Looks of these tires!
We live where there is a lot of rain, and these tires have a tread pattern that allows the water to move out of the tracks of the tire. We just barely had them put on, but we like the looks of them. They seem to drive nice, and aren't loud! Excellent Tread pattern. If they last well, we will be buying these again. We called 5 different shops pricing tires, and these tires out priced all of them. They were the least expensive and didn't cost a fortune to have shipped, which was a deciding factor for us. Although we had to wait about 8-10 days to get them, they arrived in good shape, and were clean. We took them to a local tire shop and it was still cheaper to have put on, than if we had bought them through any of the shops! At this point, I would recommend these... So far no troubles!

A Brand Name that lives up 2 it
Dislikes all the neg comments on other posts. Tire problems are caused my Manufacturer defects. Or worn suspension parts. If you recieve tires that are damaged that are bought new. That is a Seller problem they should have done there thing. To get inventory replaced. By the manufacturers new warranty standards .. By ( Dot ) regulations I'm a master tech and worked for Toyota that comment was a tech alignment problem. Not everyone knows how to properly do a alignmet. Even balance a wheel. Hourly techs get payed by the hr.. Flat rate guys get payed more ( bounus ) for finishing the job early and on to the next job.. I.e. clock 40hrs and earn 60 hrs pay. So in all the simplist way to explain..Ea.. Person level of knowledge and expertise is different..COOPER tires have been a long time no brainer since I was able to go to Car shows since the 80s. The reasons I bought this brand. The tread fills out the rims width perfect. The road noise is more than acceptable.. Very quite and quiter than 90 % of other brands ive installed or listen to on Customer complaint rides.. 👍👍

Not impressed whatsoever...
Purchased a set of four Coopers. Thirteen months later, I had to purchase four tires from the M brand. The newer tires still have plenty of tread, and holding up after 40,000 miles. The Coopers did not last 10,000 miles...a good waste of money!!!
