Fits and Works Well
This was the cheapest way to get a new knob for my "add water feature" knob on my Speedqueen washer. Because only 2/3 of a tank of water was allowed due to new laws, I always had to add water with each load which then put pressure on the knob and that cracked over time (15 years). I found a video how to fix the water level so I have a full tank of water on a large load setting. My plumber fixed the water level. The new knob does not have a protection of a metal piece to strengthen it any longer so take extra care when turning. I take a star off it for the lack of metal reinforcement. Speedqueen does not add that metal piece to any knob now.

Remove metal sleeve to make knob fit
This replacement knob had a thin metal sleeve pressed into its shaft, which made it too tight to go onto the knob shaft of my washer. I unscrewed the 2 inside screws (easy) and used a strong thin metal tool to push the sleeve out, from the inside out. Once the sleeve was out, the knob fit just right. Note 1: the knob shaft on my washer had an outer metal sleeve which may possibly have been left there by the original knob, so it may have worked just fine to pull that sleeve off the shaft instead. But I couldn't tell by looking at it whether it was attached to other stuff down in further. Note 2: my original knob's inner black surface had the imprint "2H29 3" , but the new knob had the imprint "2H29 4".
