Great and comfortable pair of boots.
I wear these boots at work and I walk on concrete all day. My feet do not hurt and they are not fatigued at the end of my 13 hour day.

Got em Feb 19. Reviewing Aug 5th
7 months in and both zippers blew out. I absolutely loved the boots other than the zippers failing.

Great boot
As of now this is a great boot and very comfortable compared to my old boots. I do a lot of restaurant repairs and it’s hard to find a boot that will not slip in the kitchens. This boot does not slip in a commercial kitchen

Sizing issues, but high quality.
I have an older version of this shoe and even then, back when I ordered it, I had to get wide instead of a medium (I am normally a medium). However, this shoe, even a wide was not wide enough. Also, the toe cap pressed against my toe, enough that I'm sure it would have developed into a bigger problem. I didn't want to take the risk, so I returned it and decided to get the non-toe cap version. It takes a fair bit of work to find a size that fits properly, something that Timberland really needs to address, but once you do, that's where all the complaints end. This is a very high-quality boot. They finally added the loop on the back to help you pull it on (not that that is a representation of a high-quality boot, but it sure is nice), which wasn't present on earlier versions. Reviews say there are issues with the zipper, but my 4-year old version of this boot has the same zipper, and it has never failed me...knock on wood. The Timberland name is sureey represented by the comfort and quality of this boot.

Buy the Widest YOU CAN
BUY WIDE regardless of your foot type, I love these boots but would kill for them to be a half size wider. They are very narrow boots but the composite toe is SUPER lite weight and durable. Im a paramedic and use them for 12-16 hour shifts without a problem. ZERO break in time, just put them on and enjoy!

Best boots.
Best boots I've ever had from the 1st second stepping into it.

Beware of defective zippers and stiff heel insoles
My pair of Timberland Pro 8 inch black leather boots came in the middle of May, now in mid July, only two months later that I write this review. After moderate use of the boots at work, where I do a lot of walking, the heel cushion inside both boots still have not been broken in causing my feet to form to the shoe as opposed to the shoe forming to my feet. The zippers are difficult to maneuver at the area of the ankle that flexes. This requires me to Flex my ankle while applying constant pressure to the zipper so that it can fully zip, both up and down. Finally, as I attempt to finesse the zipper at the ankle, the unavoidable stress the zipper endures when putting on and removing the boots caused the zipper to break completely on my left boot, rendering the pair useless Considering These Boots cost $140, the zippers are hard to maneuver, the heel cushions are stiff and have not fully broken in after 2 months, and the zipper breaking, I feel this is a poor investment for your feet and I will be contacting the manufacturer for reimbursement. Such a disappointment the boots are useless.

Waterproof is a ( life)saver
Love these boots, great for waterproof, temp control, and comfort. Perfect timed buy my old one finally wore down the stitching on a day we were digging in about 3 inches of thick murky water. My feet stayed dry and comfortable all night.

I actually love the feeling of these boots, they’re light and comfortable, but they have lasted me less than a year before the inner lining ripped out on both, and the outside became shaggy after a few weeks of wear. Decent boot, but low quality.
