Saddle Style Split SEAT Ergonomic Saddle Stool

I got this chair because sitting too long in a standard chair hurts my back, hips and neck. I've tried other solutions like kneeling chair, exercise ball and a stool. All of these offered some relief but nothing lasting. It seems that if I do any one posture for too long, it causes problems regardless. The saddle style seat was the last option I had not tried so I did some research. The high end saddle seats were $800 or more. I found this chair from CyberDealBazaar at $300 and that was a price I could take a risk on.I like that there is a long range for this chair that can go from sitting to more of a standing stool. I am about 6' 1" and so I ordered the longer pneumatic shaft and this was the right choice. I can sit on this saddle seat at the same height as a normal chair and I can also raise it to more of a standing/semi-standing position. I really like these variable options as they fit me quite well. As such, I can use different positions throughout the day with the same chair. The seat also tilts forward which offers another nice option depending on how I'm using the chair. Again, tilting helps to offer different positions throughout the day.The split saddle design is different and takes a little getting used to. The chair comes with the split seat locked in place with 2 screws underneath. These screws hold the seat stationary but once removed the split seat pads can move freely on the hinge and this is a feature I like very much. They move as I move and fit nicely with my legs/sitz bones. I think it is up to the user to determine if they want these hinges to swing freely or not but it is important to know of this option. I did not find it was clearly defined when I received...but maybe I missed something.The parts seem to be good solid quality. I did have to address a minor issue with my chair and the customer service person at 'CyberDealBazaar' helped me resolve promptly and without any hassles. They were quite helpful and reasonable. Their support is why I am writing this review. I don't typically submit reviews but I thought this company and this chair deserved the feedback.Using this chair has most definitely helped with my back and hip pain. The more I use it, the better I understand how it works and how to maximize the benefits. I typically use it in a semi-standing position and try to make sure I keep good posture as well as good keyboard and monitor ergonomics.I'm very satisfied with this chair so far and I anticipate it will serve me well into the future. I'm not sure how it compares to the more expensive higher end version of this chair but right now, I don't see any reason to find out.

The bolt on the left side of the seat sheared off and now the seat is unstable! The stool was purchased on May 3, 2019 and delivered by mid May. Very disappointed!
