Excellent watercolor brush, delivered fast, and packaged well.
All of Silver brushes are excellent for watercolor. They are characteristically ultra soft, hold lots of water and have a very sharp point, but they are also extremely flexible.

Can't beat them with a stick.
Pointed and holds the water rather than dumping like most 100% synthetic brushes. My go to. I have so many I'm not sure of the number. Maybe 8 or 9? Great for the price I paid 7 years ago.

Great brush, horrible packaging
*EDIT*The seller of this brush (Jerry’s Artarama), was AMAZINGLY HELPFUL. They gave me a full refund on my bent brush with no hassle at all!Now on to reiterating how much I LOVE this BRUSH! Silver Black Velvet is 100% my favorite brand of brush at this point, and this size is amazing. Holds lots of water and paint, but can do fine detail work like a champ. Completely recommend this brush, this brand, and Jerry’s Artarama (third party seller).First of all, this rating is for the packaging, not the brush itself. I LOVE this brush. Silver brushes are my absolute favorite, and my painting got exponentially better when I started using them. The point on this brush is so fine and delicate, and the brush holds its shape. I absolutely would give this brush 10 stars if I could.But the 1 star rating is for the packaging. I ordered this brush the first time, it came loose in a bubble wrap envelope..,and was bent. Okay, so I returned it and purchased another one. This one ALSO came loose in a bubble wrap envelope, and the little plastic sleeve that keeps the bristles safe during shipping wasn’t even on the brush! This is such a tiny item, and so fragile (compared to, say, a book), you would think they would take more care with shipping. Absolutely recommend this brush, but the shipping was awful.

This is my second one #4,I originally want to order #8, I placed this #4 by mistake.I decided to return, but this beautiful brush make me keeping him.

Superior Watercolor brush
I'm so impressed with the way the brush is pointed at the end in a very fine line. It makes it so fun and easy to paint watercolor and not to have to change brushes to get the fine lines needed.

It’s pretty good
After seeing so many review videos on YouTube I was excited to try but it’s not really wowing me the way I thought. It holds lots of water but the point isn’t as sharp as I expected. Still a good overall brush tho

Worth the price
I hesitated due to the price, but it was recommended by another artist, Completely worth it. It is luscious. Holds lots of water or paint and holds its point well. Glad I splurged.

Great all-purpose watercolor brushes
I’ve used the Silver Black Velvet brushes in several sizes for over 10 years. I often reach for them over my far more expensive Windsor & Newton Series 7 brushes. They hold a good load of paint and maintain a fine point through many uses.
