Apex XP-L Big Mountain Ski Boots

I have been researching ski boots for quite some time, came across these online and instantly became inquisitive. There are many conflicting reviews online so I figured I would go try them on myself and doubted these would be stiff enough to hold my skiing style of fast and hard (former professional ski instructor). I decided to go try them on and they were better than I hoped they would be. Fortunately for Peter Glenn the store I tried them on refused to price match and I went in the parking lot of the store and bought them online immediately.Skiing with them is an entirely new world. Walking around and hiking up backcountry make these boots even more out of this world. I’m surprised this technology wasn’t discovered sooner with how much more comfortable snowboard boots are. A++++++ from me even though the first order I received had two right boots and the second order had two left boots. They were quick to fix the mistake and very pleased with the customer service. I definitely would recommend.

Excellent boots.Heels stay put in these boots unlike their 2 buckle varieties.Also seems to be more waterproof.Only negative is the frames are very heavy when travelling overseas.

WOW! Just got back from skiing in Steamboat Colorado, and I can’t say enough good things about my Apex boots. After buying a thousand things from Amazon over the last 10 years, these boots inspired me to submit my first review.(Photo: I’m the girl in the green pants)Me: I ski HARD and fast - moguls, trees, powder, ice...and these boots handled it ALL. My feet were warm, dry, and comfortable all day, even during a blizzard. When it was time to pick up my little one from ski school, I quickly unclipped the exo-skeleton, and I could walk around with ease and carry his stuff too. (None of the delayed heeeeeeel-toooooe, heeeeeel-toe you get with traditional ski boots). I also hate walking up and down stairs in traditional ski boots, but these feel GREAT. Comfortable and honestly safer than my old boots. The skeleton comes with a strap, so you just hook them together and sling them over your shoulder. They’re super lightweight, but tough.When you remove the exoskeleton (takes 10 seconds), the boot is firm but soft. There are two dials that tighten the boot itself. The exo skeleton has three buckles (like a traditional ski boot would.)I can’t believe how awesome these boots are. I just texted my brother who’s about to ski in Switzerland, and told him he HAS to get these things.I can’t wait to ski again just so I can wear these boots again.
