Exactly what I wanted and expected
What's to not like? It's a helmet donut! It works to position your helmet any way you need to work on it. No damage to the helmet. I was surprised at how firm it is, but that's what you need. I like it.

Protects the helmet and frees up hand
I liked this helmet donut very much. I used to have to hold my helmet in one hand and try to position it with the other to perform maintenance on it. Now I have a free hand by placing it in the donut holes.

Hey - it'a a pad - to hold your helemt
Semi-soft rubber material in the shape of a doughnut to keep your helmet from getting scratched. But it's round and my helmet is oval so the helmet is not held securely upside down on the doughnut. But, it isn't on a hard surface either and you can lie the helmet on it's side too and still get access to the bits you need to access.

It’s a rubber doughnut. Hard to mess that up.
Looks great. Works as described. Looks well made. Will hold a small to 3x helmet just fine. Great place to flip your lid over and let it dry out.

Really protects your helmet when not in use
I have a matte finish helmet and have been concerned about it showing scratches and fingerprints. This helmet pad keeps it away from any source of scratches and is doing exactly what I purchased it for.
