The B&Q Goodhome Wydon tap had developed a drip! I was struggling to find replacement Cartridges, the one on B&Q website did not match the ones in the tap. I tried cleaning out the inside of the tap & the face seal but no good, still dripping. So rather than purchase a new tap at £100 with a 10 year warranty I looked for the receipt and discovered purchase date March 2013 so it was out of warranty by 3 months! sods law. I did some searching and checking of dimensions and came across this pair for £9.99 when other similar ones were about £30. Purchased & fitted the pair & NO DRIPS so well pleased. Not sure if the replacements will last 10 years so ordering another pair as spares just in case they are not available when needed in the future. They are slightly longer which means the levers stand out a little further but work just fine. Definitely recommended, but time will tell.

Debated which set to buy on amazon. Eventually went with these because they were best value. Look to be very well made (no burrs or rough edges and machining all looks good) and after now 3 months the taps are still drip free and rotate very smoothly. No problems at all. Would recommend these as a cheap and perfectly acceptable replacement.

Great product

Not having had to replace any ceramic disc tap cartridges before, I was slightly apprehensive about dismantling my tap, not knowing what I would find or how difficult the job might prove to be. In reality, the job is simplicity itself - although removing the old cartridges without a large ring spanner of the correct size (17mm) might have proved rather challenging, as they were extremely tight! Replacing the cartridges and reassembling the taps is child's play. The replacement cartridges were a perfect fit, being an exact replacement for the old ones, and the tap is no longer dripping. Care is however required when ordering these cartridges, as they come in different sizes; in particular, make sure that you order ones with the correct number of splines (20 or 28) for the tap handle. These aren't the cheapest replacement cartridges available but they do seem to be of excellent quality and I therefore feel able to give them a strong recommendation.

It turns out taps don’t have simple washers you replace to fix leaks anymore...confronted by a much more complex operation than I expected and no serial number on the fittings, I was so grateful for your precise measurements. Did the job perfectly, and saved me an expensive call out.

After comparing various reviews for what seemed all the same products at varied pricing, I decided to buy these on the strength of reviews. These are not the cheapest versions available but believe me the quality is obvious from the presentation of the tap inserts and the weight of the brass. Don’t buy the cheepies get these- you won’t regret it! I’m now buying further sets for other taps.

Purchased to fix a leak on bathroom mixer tap. Didn't quite know what I needed so ordered blind Stems on these valves slightly too long but barely noticeable. Easy fix for a plumbing virgin.

It just worked, which is more than I can say for another nameless suppliers effort. Valves were clearly marked as Hot and Cold, and they had the appropriate threads to work on the left and right hand side of the spigot (unlike the aforementioned suppliers). ...and they never leaked (yes the other suppliers also leaked). So, if you're looking for tap valves, you're in the right place.
