Virgin and the Lover / Lustful Feelings [DVD]

Could only load the Lustful feelings tryed three times to load virgin and the lover and only menu and pictures would come up, never was able to get Virgin and the Lover to play so can't evaluate becauses never able to see it.

Mine was messed up too enjoyed Lustful Feelings but couldn't watch Virgin & the Lover it just wouldn't play, this is the second Vinegar Syndrome to do this on me the with The Suckers did it too I could see The Suckers but not other movie. Not all are like this cause I ordered another one and they both worked on it but you shouldn't have to do that , I love there movies and I hope whatever is there problem is cleared up cause this rating is for the product not the movie I enjoyed the one that I could see.

The quality of the transfers of the movies are excellent. Like other people have commented, had problems accessing the first movie "Virgin And the Lover". There appears to be something wrong with the TOC (Table of Contents) on the DVD. But I did find a work around. To access the movie, go to the Reels Item on the Main Menu for that movie. Then select Reel 5 on the Reels sub-menu. Your player may take a little time, but eventually it will find Reel 5 chapter of the "Virgin and the Lover" movie. then use your Skip Back button on your remote to find Reel 1 (first chapter) of the movie. (Note: do not Skip Back too far back because it will skip to the beginning of the second movie "Lustful Feelings"). Would have given it a rating of 5, but down graded because of DVD problem.

These movies are a good representation of erotic films from the 70s. The actresses are beautiful and totally and the stories are clever and interesting. I had these on VHS and some of the best scenes were cut out but this DVD it definitely uncut! A must for fans of the cast, especially Jennifer Welles and Leslie Bovee. The video quality is also excellent and looked great on my 40'' widescreen TV.
