Sounds like a Mesa Boogie
It’s close, but not quite perfect. It does not go into the front of an amp well, it causes a loud hissing, but if you bypass it and just use the return input then you get a good sound. The volume difference between the clean and dirty sounds may be too different, you would probably have to tweak the settings every time you change

Mini Mesa
I bought this for quick demo recordings. My big board is not bad to carry around but certainly not as portable. I have a Mesa throttle box on that board. I prefer the sound of the throttle box, but not by much, so I built a mini board with this as my main sound source. I added an azor fuzz, and a dan electro chorus, I’m adding a reverb pedal, and boom this rig will always be with me. I can gig with this pedal easily, just running foh. It can make the journey with me to work, I can eat my lunch and lay down a quick demo. Buy this little Mesa you’ll love it

Not impressed
It was thin in in the distortion department. I didn't hear the brown sound I was hoping for. I wish I could trade it for the Brown Sound 3 model.

Wow, just wow!
Got this to pair with a baby bomb 30 to see if it would suffice in a live situation where a amp might not be available. This is a valuable option, as long as there is a speaker cab you’re good to go. Great sound very versatile too. It’s a rig you can put on your guitar case

Great Preamp!
Man, this preamp is awesome! I got this so that I can run directly into speakers at my church as opposed to having to lug around my 30watt tube amp and then figure out how to have that thing hook up at the church (which is fairly small)...wasn't going to work. This premap sounds spectacular. The gain channel is a bit much for what I am working with, but the clean channel is exactly what I was wanting. This replicates a Matchless amp which is one of my favorites and I am more than happy with this purchase. Really excited to try some of Mooers other preamps and have more versatility with my sound and play styles! Highly recommend.

Best boogie rec sound for the price.
For $100, you won’t find a better pedal that sounds closest to a boogie rec. I’ve tried them all I’m pretty sure. Brian Wampler’s triple wreck is great, but cost $300. It has other features I haven’t used, but maybe I will someday, just needed that boogie sound option on my board.

Clean channel is terrible; gain channel is meh
I didn't have high hopes for this pedal at this price point, but even then it was a disappointment. The "clean" channel is laugh-out-loud bad: fuzzy, and breaks up even with low-output P90's and the volume knob on the guitar rolled back to 7. I even tried a different power supply, wondering if it wasn't getting enough juice. Nope -- it just doesn't clean up.The gain sounds are fairly anonymous, and not very tight -- to the extent that it resembles the amp it's "inspired" by it's an EQ profile with boomy bass and scooped mids, more of a parody than a tribute.I can almost overlook that; it takes a lot of processing power to make good digital high-gain sounds happen (think Fractal Audio or Helix) and that's out of reach for a $99 pedal. However, there is simply no excuse for not having a sparkling clean "clean" channel on a digital pedal.

Sounds great, play metal with your headphones on
The gain on the dirty channel sounds better than my RAT II. Very nice tone for such a small package. I mainly bought it for the cabinet simulator so I could play in my small apartment, but was pleasantly surprised by how good the channels sounded. A lot of bang for your buck! These are great little units.

Just an OK pedal.
I’m normally a fan of Mooer pedals as they are good value for money. I’ve got around five other pedals, all of which I m very happy with and use regularly. However, this one didn’t really meet my expectations. There’s a very discernible hum at even lower volume and gain, which increases as you dial up the gin setting.Furthermore, the overdrive that the pedal provides is very dirty sounding, almost like using your amp at the highest setting where the sound starts blaring. A very careful mix needs to be established to get a tone good enough to play.As a tone shaper without the OD, it’s just about ok.I can see very limited use for this pedal, maybe for songs like Cochise by Audioslave.Since I got it very cheap, I guess I’ll keep it.

Closest you’ll get to a Dual Rectifier for under $150 CAD
This thing is tiny so it doesn’t take a lot of space on my board but it sounds huge . This does a great job of the Dual Rectifier sound . I use it in front of a clean tube amp and it sounds amazing . Not sure how the cab simulator is as I haven’t tried it. I’d definitely buy this again if anything happened to this one.

Perfect
It does the job perfectly well. The cleans are really nice, I didn't like the distorted channel that much as it sounds too much like 'an amp in a box'. It's a recreation of the Matchless amp so didn't expect the dirty channel to be that great. Overall, extremely satisfied by the product. The packaging and delivery was tight and just the right amount and was delivered on time and great service.
