This pen arrived a day early, and I was delighted as soon as I saw it. It truly does look lovely and it's already my favourite pen, and I've got lots. Wrote smoothly as soon as I tried it for the first time. There's nothing here not to like.

A very nice pen indeed that is well balanced and easy to write with. The only improvement I would make is give it a copper nib to match the rest. But as a fountain pen, it works very well indeed and makes a bit of a fashion statement.

Lovely feel and good quality. Dont know how it writes as I bought it for my sister as a gift, she liked it. Pen comes in a lo Ely leather box which makes the first impression one of quality.

When I did not understand the converter, Facile Scriptum replied to my question by return with excellent and clear instructions which included a youtube video link. Very good customer service and as I said before we are delighted with the pen which is a gift for my grandson abroad.

Lovely looking pen nice to hold with smooth ink flow

I have used fountain pens for years and this is exceptionally smooth.

I had been really looking forward to receiving this pen and when it arraived it looked every bit as beautiful as it did inthe pictures. I filled it and started writing immediate and to start off with it was terrifific. Then after about an A4 side of writing the ink flow stopped. The converter was still almost full but the flow just wasnt there. I emptied it and refilled it and again, after about an A4 side it was like the ink had run out - except it hadnt. I went theoruy the cleaing processs (ink out, sucking in and squirting out water until clear then leaving to dry overnight in a bowl of dried rice). Filled it again and again after an A4 side its bone dry. Doesn't matter how it looks - if it wont write its useless. Sending back for a refund
