i love locking lids. i threw away all my old rubbermaid and others and invested in nothing but these in different sizes. the 3 cup is the perfect size for left overs i bought a couple sets of these especially if your making big soups, these are great for single meals and to freeze for another time. i highly recommend these folks you won't be dissapointed :o)

Will hold ALMOST standard size of a can of fruit or whatever. Generally finding these very handy for single person or couple. True, they do not stack that well because they are pretty vertical-sided, but they lock so nicely airtight and keep things so fresh that it's an easy trade-off. Actual container INSIDE dimensions (disregarding lid) which is info hard to come by from the listing or reviews... Bottom inside floor: 2" wide x 4.5" long. Top inside of container: 3.25" wide x 5" long. And 2" tall inside usable depth. Listing and packaging says dishwasher safe but I wash by hand since there is a rubber type sealing gasket (might be silicone). I really like this brand, pretty much everything about it.

The lids work well. The 4-star is due to the thickness of the long walls, which tend to bow when you try to lock them 1st. The trick is to lock the short side 1st, then no issues with the long walls. Like that you can attach the lid after heating in the microwave (use only 2 clips) and carry it without a hot pad to your seat.

Love the lids are interchangeable. I have had some of these since 2007 and still going strong. Never reheat in them b/c they're plastic. This adds to their longevity. They don't leak! Confident they don't need to be bagged. Throw them in my backpack and ride my bicycle to work and put it in the refrigerator.

I love how these small containers hold just the perfect portion for my husbands work lunch. He say's, they hold more food than you think.

I love these small food storage containers. I bought six and found them so handy to freeze food in for one person that I ordered six more! The only thing that is negative about them is that they do not stack into each other when they are empty. So you have to quite a large space to store them on top of each other, which I have in a large pantry. I believe they are making a version that will stack. Not sure. But since I have the room to store them.. I love the true " Lock and Lock" brand! They wash up well and I have had no problem with them popping open when I do not want the open.
