The media could not be loaded. This little bookshelf and bench makes my heart burst! We got this for my baby girl who will be 1 soon, because she has so many books, that we needed better storage than what we had before.I had low expectations before this arrived due to the reviews I had read.This is so well made, and was pretty easy to put together! The hold up was putting the screws in for the wooden panel where the tablet shelf sits. The holes weren't lining up properly without a lot of force on our end (my 12 year old son and I put this together). But, we were able to get it, and we are all so happy with it!There's A LOT more space for books than we anticipated! My baby girl has so many books, so I wasn't expecting them all to fit, but they do!We are going to use the gray cubes for toys!Overall, very easy to put together, I'm very happy, and this is very well made!

We bought this as a Christmas gift for our daughters, needless to say, they loved it! They’re currently 6&2 and love to read, so this is a perfect space for them to share their books. We also have a teepee and I was wondering if it was going to serve the same purpose but it didn’t, they do use the teepee to play and this nook to practice their reading. I love that it has storage space (it was the main reason we decided to ultimately buy it), the boxes are not sturdy at all and the lid falls apart often but you can change these for others or just remove them and use the space by itself.We thought it as going to be hard to put together but it only took us about 90 minutes, the instructions are well explained and detailed.My daughters fell in love with it! I hope it lasts just as everything else we have from KidKraft!

Big enough to fit three children on it side by side. A lot of space for books and the cube on the bottom are big enough to fit my son's big firetruck. I usually put a blanket on top and my daughter hides in it for hours. Get a booklight for the kids that love reading or set beside a window for natural light.

I was worried this might be tricky to assemble after reading other reviews. If it’s not going together well, make sure you have the right pieces. The instructions have only pictures but I put it together pretty quickly with relative ease. It’s cute and my kids love it but it’s pressed sawdust with a sticker of wood on top. The sticker was peeling off in 2 spots. It’s not a huge deal but I’d prefer to receive it in “new” condition. It’s big enough for my 3 and 4 year old to sit together comfortably and read.

This thing is so cute! My 3yo loves to read so I wanted to encourage that. I only wish the little shelves were a bit wider so it would hold more books. I didn't have too much trouble assembling, it took a little finessing to get a couple of the screws in but that was more my issue than it was the product. I am 5'4" and I can sit in the very center without hitting my head on the canopy part, but if your taller, you probably won't fit. But my daughter loves it so much. I was pleasantly surprised at the awesome quality of everything too. Only thing it need is a velcro strip to the back of the seat cushion to keep it in place when my 3yo climbs on and off.

It took me a while to put together, 2+ hours but the directions are remarkably good, it is just time intensive. I was afraid it would be wobbly and made of cardboard but it is really sturdy and painfully cute. I bought it for my 6 year old for a place to keep his legos and books. The seat fits him perfectly. I have sat on it with him reading books and while its not overly comfortable for me, it didn't seem to mind my weight. I added little lights to the top to compliment his space room and it is perfect.

Fun project that took the length of 1 crime junkies podcast and 3, 20 minute episodes of New Girl, to put together. I took my time, no rush. Easy to assemble. My baby woke up this morning and saw if for the first time and her reaction was to jump up onto it and lay down. She loves it.ALSO, I was accidentally sent two boxes instead of 1. I only ordered one Nook but received two.. I was only charged for the one I bought so .. I need to figure out how to contact someone to send the second one back.

I never take the time to come back and write reviews but I really love this piece I am so glad I got it!! We wanted an area specifically for my 5 and 10 yr old (who share a room) to sit and read. This nook is sturdy, fairly easy to put together and is quite bigger then I expected. I was worried about that. One of my pics shows my 5 yr old (53lbs) 15 yr old (92 lbs) and 10 yr old (103 lbs) sitting together. Of course it’s tight but shows how wide it is. If you’re hesitant don’t be! We’re really happy with it and my kids were so excited!!
