The blanket is incredibly soft and cozy, and the perfect weight for snuggling up on the couch. The micromink on one side and sherpa on the other, provide the perfect balance of warmth and comfort. I was in a hurry and did not read the product description over enough to realize that this was NOT an electric heating blanket. When I opened the box and realized it, I was both excited and disappointed. Disappointed because I realized it wasn't electric, but excited because the design (I chose Blue Aztec), was amazing and it was so soft! I took it out and sat under it to see that it was extremely comfotrable! I replaced my comforter with this as it looks great and keeps the user warm. When I want to feel the blanket directly, I will push my sheets away so that this is my main blanket.The white fuzzy side it very comftorable, but sometimes I like something soft and smooth rather than soft and plush. I can turn the blanket so that the design is facing me, and even the outside is amazingly soft.After a while of use, the white plsuh can began to pick up small black fuzzies, but they are not too obvious. This blanket is also easy to wash in the washer, (although I would not wash it with anything else as to not overload the washer, performance may vary on washer).Very glad I purchased this, be it by mistake!

UPDATE: I bought these blankets in 2019. Today, I washed mine for the first time. It laundered beautifully and came out soft and fresh. I had spilled a little something on it a couple of nights ago, washed on cold on hand wash setting, tumble dried low. No shrinking, stretching, or twisting of seams. We love these blankets. Even my brother’s MIL who is always cold (even in summer) still comments to me how much she loves her blanket.Original review: My husband is tall. He has never been able to cover up from toes to chin with a regular throw while we watch TV. He found an extra-long one he wanted for Christmas from a well-known brand, but when I looked at the reviews I wasn’t sold. Plus, it was expensive. So off to my trusty Amazon I went in search of an extra long blanket. This so completely fit the bill and had awesome reviews. I even ordered one for me.These twin-size blankets are so, so soft! I find myself absently petting it. It’s warm without being heavy, but it has enough weight to make me feel cozy. The Sherpa side has shed a little, but only on a cotton pillow case on the pillow I have to raise my poor, injured foot. Nothing else grabs it. I haven’t wash them yet and will likely update when I do.We loved these blankets so much I bought four more and a throw (for a very petite mother-in-law) for my whole family of siblings. They were just as delighted with them as we were.This is such a good value. I saw another throw recently at a well-known chain store where Amazon accepts returns, and the throw size was more expensive than this twin size, and not nearly as nice a blanket.If you’re looking at this blanket what are you waiting for? I love this blanket. It is super soft and warm. Great for watching TV, tic tocs, playing games, and many other activities.

For this review to make sense you should know that I live in Minnesota where it hasn't been above freezing now for about a month now and it's been decades since I've owned a proper comforter. I've been getting along with a series of smaller blankets, that when combined, have worked, albeit not perfectly. My wife has a blanket like this and I've been wanting to get one for myself for awhile. If you're asking yourself why we have separate blankets then you haven't found the joy that comes with 100% fewer blanket struggles of each having your own.Anyway, after not finding the one she has at the local department store, I started looking at Amazon and was intrigued by this seemingly perfect (based on ratings) blanket for a very reasonable price. So I thought why not give this one a shot, the worst that can happen is it just gets added to the pile of various blankets on our bed.What I found was that was completely unnecessary. In the dead of winter, this single blanket is enough to keep me warm enough all night. It's soft, lightweight, but surprisingly very warm at the same time. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I felt like it could have been a little bit bigger. It seemed just a few inches short in either direction to give it that "not quite total luxury" feel. If you want to drown in comfort, go ahead and get the queen size.But overall, I'm very happy with this blanket and I can see us buying a few more in the future.

It's a great soft blanket that I use all the time. If I had to complain about it, the white side pills up after a while, so I tend to want to brush it to keep it soft. But it's a favorite item that is in constant use.

I Recently moved from the Caribbean to Canada and wanted a blanket that would keep me warm while I adjust to the weather. This blanket did not disappoint! I use it on the bed to sleep with. I got the king size in grey as I have a king bed and it fit perfectly with excess over the sides so it falls almost like a top sheet.It's not overly heavy or bulky and can be tossed in the washing machine. The top side is really soft and comfy while the fleece side keeps you nice and warm at night. The quality of the make and stitching is good and the fleece lined part does not flake off or leave fuzz on the bed. I've only been using it a few days and i love it but will update the review on how well it holds up over time with washing.Will definitely be ordering another one for the bed and a smaller one for the couch as well. If you are looking for a soft feeling comfy blanket that will keep you warm this is the blanket for you! Definitely recommend.
