The whole thing worked well with my equipment. The only problem was it made the rc a little front heavy. But it did the job.

Not tmounts out therehe best for a 10" iPad but it will hold it better than some. I like where is positions the device top and above the controller and not under or right on top.

I purchased a similar tablet mount a few years ago from another seller, to fit the controller of my Mavic Pro and it was perfect. When my drone controller and attached tablet were stolen, I went back to my order history to buy the same tablet holder again. To my disappointment, that one was no longer available, so I purchased this one. It is sturdy and will do the job of holding a tablet, and had two different joints with adjustment nuts to vary the position of your tablet. But, it gets in the way of the parabolic range extenders that I prefer to use on my antennas. You cannot mount the clamshell type hinged range extenders over the antennas with this tablet mount. Also, the placement of the neck lanyard attachment is to the top side of the controller, just below the display screen. This may cause the lanyard to obstruct the display or scratch it. Furthermore, this mount is designed in such a way that part of it goes over the face of the controller and frames in the display and the pause and menu buttons on the face of the controller. The raised plastic frame is in the way of your fingers easily finding and pushing these two buttons. You can't just run your thumbs across the face of the controller where the buttons should be and manipulate them. You now have to find the corner of this frame, and run your thumb over this raised edge and downward on the other side to get to the controller buttons. The design interferes with this operation. That's why, despite this being of good quality and rugged, I give 3 stars because apparently nobody who designed this mount flies a Mavic Pro or has the desire to be able to use the buttons on the controller, or use range extenders.

Didn't test it in flight, though I'm sure it'll be just fine. For my DJI app, I use a Samsung S23 Ultra phone that works great. Problem has always been I had to remove it from the case. It's one of those ugly, but very tough cases and barely fits anywhere. Right away it fit in this holder, YAY! Only issue, and a minor one, is that the cable has to have a thin head where it plugs in because the thickness of the case doesn't allow the phone to seat down into the holder as far as I'd like. I still highly recommend this holder for anyone flying the Mavic drones. By the way mine is the original Mavic Pro.

I ordered the product for a big drone shoot I had scheduled. It was shipped out in a somewhat timely matter but I believe UPS dropped the ball. The product made it to Knoxville about 40 miles from me but seemed to sit there for days. Seek shipping alternatives to Amazon prime. It is a great addition to your drone shoots.

This is a must have! It mounts the phone in a way better position to see what's going on. Having a lanyard is a huge plus I didn't know I'd like but it holds the controller at a good position and is extra safety. Overall for the price/benefits Dont wait order now before its $40!
