: it's a black digital clock with blue number/letter display.
: simple headlilne for a simple product.i've been using it for a couple weeks and so far it has kept time perfectly.: ]the lowest setting is still a bit too bright for my blackout room, but the bigger problem with the dimmest display is that the numbers, though large, are not crisp. they seem blurry. this isn't a problem once you boost the brightness even by one increment.as noted by many, there are two versions of this clock. one comes with the power adapter that you need to plug it in to the electrical outlet and the other contains just the cord with a micro-usb on one end and the usb on the other which you'll need to plug into an adapter.it is one of those clocks where you don't set the hour and the minute separately, but you hold it down and it starts to rapidly fly through the minutes. you can go forward or backward. it's relatively quick and easy.the display is large but not obnoxiously huge.now, the alarms...the chirping is nice...if you want to wake up about an hour after it's started. you'd really have to be the lightest of sleepers to have this wake you. even once i heard it i still didn't recognize it as an alarm. maybe it's more for pleasure? it didn't wake me up. that was a fail. i learned quickly.the other sounds are pleasant and effective enough, but somehow still not ideal. very new-age spa. make of that what you will. sometimes i have ear plugs in and i need something a bit harsher.the clock is a bit light and has been pulled out of place a few times by the weight of the plug, but it's okay after some maneuvering.overall, the price is great and the performance seems solid. it's a lot nicer than the usual, more-harsh red displays.

Terrible Glare
The curved design creates a terrible glare in a brightly lit room, either from windows or lights. I bought this for my living room in the TV cabinet where the cable box used to be, but most times it was difficult to read except in total darkness. Turning the brightness to a high level helps but then it is distracting when watching TV. I could have relocated it to try a different spot, but that was where I wanted it. Also, the blue display is not very easy to see, which doesn't help. I supposed this might be better suited for a bedroom. This was returned for a different brand with a white display and a flat face, and it works perfectly in the same spot. No glare, and the white display is very easy to read.

Difficult To Use - Doesnât Run On Batteries
Itâs pretty cool looking, so thatâs something. But it has to be plugged in to work - which sucks. Youâd think itâd be able to run off batteries or something. I donât use its alarm feature since I just needed it as a living room clock so I donât know how good that is but even just the time itself is hard to set so I doubt the alarm function is much easier to use. But like I said, it looks cool - hence the 3 stars (I was asked to change it to 4, itâs not 4 star worthy but the customer service people were so nice I changed it upon their request), tells time too. So good since itâs relatively cheap but not something Iâd recommend others to buy.**UPDATE TO ABOVE**The customer service team contacted me and apologized for the inconveniences this clock may have caused me, there is apparently an updated version that projects the time and has a radio function as well which they offered to give me for free, but I don't need a second clock as mine still displays the time correctly and that's all I need it for. However, they also offered me a refund for the clock since it apparently comes with a warranty - that is very cool of them so I'm changing the stars to 3 (see parentheses above) for great customer service (only three though-again see parentheses above-since the stars are still technically for the clock itself).

Well...........hmmmmm.............................
Quality: top-notch.....keeps perfect time. Size: great, display large, footprint good. Curved display: unique, modern. Programming: very simple. Snooze button: should have been the only button on top, should have been longer. The two other top-mounted buttons are for time control(+-) and can be locked-out, so they're not accidentally disturbed when the user fumbles for the snooze button. The brightness can be adjusted. The display reflectivity: bad. the unit's panel is very reflective....any light in the room is going to reflect an image, moving or not. This clock is in my microscope room which is quite dim. Reflections off the display are not an issue until there is either ambient or additional lighting. The segment color: very poor. There was a time when I could walk into whatever store, look over the digital clock selection, pick one, and that was the end of the clock issue. This blue display is just not 56 y/o eye-friendly. I'll keep the clock, as I wanted a unit which blended with my work environment. However, I believe you should keep looking.....green or red segments seem to be easier to read....as long as the unit does not reflect.
