REVISED REVIEW - A decent dust & dander remover - BUT Consider the yearly bag cost; it adds up...
REVISION:I've had these (I bought 2) for just over a year now. The unit still works well - but the "micro-chip" filter bags only seem to last a month; sometimes they work OK after ONE washing, never two, and sometimes, they don't work at all after washing. The price of the bags has gone up A LOT; at around $7.40 per bag as of today (23 Mar 2020), a new bag each month comes out to over $100 a year *before taxes* just for the bags, and that's only for one unit - we has bought two.... That's just too expensive for our fixed income.- It'd be OK if they'd run without the chips, but without *new* chips, they do absolutely nothing.- I'm not sure, but the chips seem to have a time restriction and it doesn't seem that just a chip could be inserted to make it run. So my 2 units are currently just sitting there, just because of the bags...-----------------------------------------------------------ORIGINAL REVIEW:- This is an air filter intended to remove dust and dander, and some allergens - see the description for those details. For years, I've been taping the electrostatic Swiffer cloths together and using elastic bands or wire or string to attach them over the backs of room fans. This is essentially a similar thing, but 1) it looks MUCH nicer LOL! , 2) it filters out smaller particles, and 3) it is *much* less noisy.- The photo shows a grayish color, but mine is a nice tan and beige color.- Even my bird got used to it quickly, because the colors are light and neutral, and because it's so quiet. That's great, because one of the main reasons I wanted to try it was to put near her cage.- In terms of size, the fully-assembled size is roughly 21.5 inches tall, about 10 inches wide at the base, and tapering to about 8.5 inches at the top. The way it's constructed, the fan pulls air in at the bottom and blows it through the filter bag, so the bag is inflated while the unit is running and air flows freely through the entire surface; the cover conceals and protects the bag without actually touching it, so the air flow is excellent over the entire surface of the filter bag.- It looks a lot like a contemporary-style table lamp, so it blends unobtrusively into the room, quietly doing its job..

Great for dust elimination!
The media could not be loaded. Update: a month later and it’s time to change the “filter”. The last light started to blink which told me it was time. The cloth filter was gray and full of dust. I was just amazed how much it picked up over the course of the month. See additional pics so you can see the before/after. The gray filter shown is the one that was a month old - shown next to a brand new one. Love this!***I am using this in my bedroom to help reduce dust and other particles. We have hard wood floors so it seems like it just stays dustier in this room. I’ve had this product for about 2 weeks now and so far I really like it. The setup was easy - took less than 10 minutes to unbox and put together. The noise level is very low - it’s a very soft blowing sound which I actually prefer - it dulls other sounds out.The appearance is nice - the outer shell is a vinyl type material that looks a lot like a linen fabric. It is a mesh type material so it is “breathable”.So far after two weeks one light has gone out which means that I have 3 more lights to go before I need to change the filter. This came with two filters. So far I’m happy with the product and it does seem to have reduced dust in the bedroom. Considering getting another one for another part of the house. I think one is good for a bedroom or office type space - definitely wouldn’t work for huge open spaces.⭐️ If you found this review helpful, please click helpful! ⭐️

Larger than expected.
The illustration suggests a table-top model, but the unit is fully 22" tall and 8"-11" in diameter, depending on where you measure. It appears to be a replacement for an earlier model which does not have microchipped filter bags or an LED reminder. We bought this one because bags for the earlier model were no longer available separately. It is not "whisper quiet." It is not a noisy as most fan-driven air cleaners, but it is definitely audible. If you need real silence, keep looking. I would like a procedure for resetting the reminder LED after cleaning and reinstalling the filter bags, but I'm sure the manufacturer wants to promote filter bag sales. It is simply constructed, easy to maintain, and a good value. We're happy.

Quiet, Light-weight Air Cleaner
This air cleaner is very quiet. I have not had it very long but run it 24-7. We are still on the first filter which is showing some dust but at this rate it should last for another month before the filter will need to be replaced. We live in the woods and leave the doors open on warm days so it is directly cleaning both the air inside our house and that which comes in through the front door. We will use our air conditioner eventually which also filters the air inside our house but it will be several more weeks before the heat arrives in our neck of the woods.

Way to go, Swiffer.
Once 'inflated', this thing is nearly silent. I'm a huge fan of how it looks, it took maybe 5 minutes to assemble, and it has made a truly noticeable impact on the air quality of my apartment.I can't speak to how well it would scale to a larger home, but I'd imagine the main difference would be the frequency of filter changes.I placed mine strategically near the AC intake, and we're talking about ~80% less dust collecting on surfaces. It's really a great product. The only potential negative is that the filters are not that cheap, not that easy to find, and don't last as long as you might want. But with that taken into account, I still highly recommend it. But do take into account the ongoing cost of filters if you're particularly budget-minded.

Quiet, clean, but big
We bought this to go in a large bedroom as we had been noticing more allergy issues. It's pretty quiet, and the design keeps airflow moving well, however it's large and the stand doesn't make it as easy to place. It does a really good job of cleaning the air as far as I can tell though. Our allergy symptoms have improved. As other reviewers have noted, it's hard to find replacement filters.
