I'm a fairly experienced photographer and mid-level scuba diver. This is 1st Sport Camera I've tried. First, it's far less costly than the brand name "GoPro" but it performs well. I didn't write the review until after I used it several times and solved a perceived problem. Used it on several dives in the Gulf of America. Visibility wasn't great, but the camera made the most of the light to capture good images. Note: the 2 pics included in my review are a picture off my laptop screen, so some of the actual quality is reduced, and the color/lighting at the ocean bottom was fairly monochrome. Video/pics on dry land are more vibrant. I had a technical issue with the camera case and contacted the seller. They were highly responsive and solved the problem quickly. One suggestion I used is to put a -very- light application of dive mask silicone along the rubber edges of the water proof case. It will help secure the seal. Another tip: Be sure to set the date and time on the camera anytime you remove and replace the battery, otherwise your date/time will be wrong. The kit came with a floating handle (which I used) and numerous attachment hardware for many mounting options, all in a durable carrying case. A very good deal when compared to buying all those items separately. It comes with 2 rechargeable batteries and charger. Battery life was not a problem at all. I have enjoyed sharing my experiences undersea by video with those whom I know that don't dive. A nice camera, simple to use and a very reasonable price.

Affordability and quality over name brand. i find the camera easy to use, the full accessory kit saved me money on buying specialized mounting kits for my bike rides. I use the water resistant protective case with the handle bar mount, just simply remove the camera from the case and i pop it into my bag when locking up the bike. Other than needing something to break the wind noise, i wish I would've gone with this camera sooner, it makes me even happier it can snap high quality photos not just take video.

I'm updating this review due to excellent customer service from the manufacturer. I picked this up as a last minute, cheap option to document my family's journey to obtaining our PADI Open Water Diver Certifications. Unfortunately, the case on the original camera leaked. I left a 2 star review since it couldn't do what I primarily got it for, although the mounting hardware it came with was amazing, the price point was amazing, and I didn't know if perhaps the other features were equally as amazing. I didn't even bother contacting the manufacturer and I wrote it off as it was outside the amazon return period. Then I happened upon an email from the manufacture offering to replace the camera at no charge. I received the replacement with the addition of a 64GB micro SD card & the batteries are higher capacity than on my original camera. I've tried it out fishing in the local river and back in our pool and the new camera and case worked flawlessly. I've only gone to up 4 stars, due to the failure of the first item, I haven't fully tested the leak proof case to any significant depth yet, only maybe 3' in my pool, and I can't speak to the quality of the on land pictures/video as I have not tried those features, and no one reads 1 star or 5 star reviews. But this camera is a crazy good value, and ASAKO will have your back if you run into any issues. Pros: Cheap. The mounting hardware kit is extensive giving you options to mount to lots of different things. Amazing customer service. Unknown: Can't really speak to any of the "on land" capabilities. The App or whatever the software to sync and transfer (and edit?) pics and videos - I did not try. Just plugged the micro SD card up to the computer and transferred files directly. Cons: First Waterproof case leaked.

Love it so far! I bought this camera for diving and snorkeling and I purchased it with the accessories and SD card. The camera came with tons of accessories that would be good for biking and other outdoor sports. The waterproof case seems to be very tight fitting to prevent water from leaking in. Camera quality is great- photos and videos are high definition and I like that I can connect the camera to my phone to see my photos and videos. The camera is easy to connect to my phone and the app. It’s small size also helps for travel purposes. Seems to be durable so far and I like its sleek appearance!

Love this camera. Just got it but playing around with it in my kitchen, I got great photos. Super easy to use and outstanding value for the dollar. Every single attachment I could possibly dream of! And all of this in a super small and lightweight camera.

Camera was Ok, decent if not stunning video quality, better than might be expected for the price point. The collection of accessories is impressive, lots of ways to mount to all sorts of things. The waterproof case, not so great. On the second outing (submerged less than 5' deep) to survey boat bottom, it leaked - and killed the camera. No recovery. No way to know it was happening until it was pulled out and the case opened pouring out its contents.

I purchased this to take on my 25th wedding anniversary trip to the West Indies. I found the camera to be of excellent quality and performance. I took a number of photos with the camera (see a couple above) and they came out just beautiful, even though ALL pictures (see attached) were thru the waterproof housing. I also took lots of video above and under the water and it performed just as well. I tried to upload a short video clip, but Amazon doesn't appear to like .mov files, the format that the video are created in :-(. One issue I had was that the date/time stamp option on the camera. It took me and another friend (who also happened to purchase the SAME camera for this trip) almost a week before we figured it out. I'm not talking about how to set the date/time, but how to keep it from resetting back to 10/1/18. In simple terms, we deduced that the camera does NOT have an internal battery. So if you take out the battery to swap it out with a new one, you lose the date/time and have to reset it. Turning off the camera and/or recharging it with the same battery, the date/time will remain in use. But if the camera looses battery power for any time, you lose the date/time feature. On more point to mention is in the camera's interface, there is a section to turn the date/time feature ON, and a different section to edit the date/time feature. I first found the second part and edited the date/time, but my photos did not display the date/time. Then I found the other section where you need to turn that ON so it does display it on your photos. Also, we could not find a way to "rename" our camera or the wifi feed. We had some issues with overlapping connections when both of our cameras were turned on to download/view our pictures at the same time. So we had to resolve the issue by only allowing one camera to be turned on at a time. Lastly, image stabilization is only available in the 1080P resolution, not in any higher resolution. I didn't find this to be an issue, but wanted to point that out. I tried using the camera in dive mode....maybe it affects the pictures/videos when you're deeper in the water, but at 25' or so deep, all it did was to make the picture darker. Up near the surface, have a pink tint. For most of my pictures and video in the water, I opted to not use dive mode. In summary, this is an amazing camera for well under $100. The camera includes a large number of different mounting hardware and the underwater housing. I was able to take it down to 25' or 30' and had no issues taking pictures or videos. This gets a 5 star rating from me...for me, probably the best buy in the 2019 year.

Ich habe mir die Kamera für meinen Ägyptenurlaub gekauft. Da ich nicht wusste, ob ich sie danach weiter verwenden würde, wollte ich erstmal nicht so viel investieren. Die Kamera ist eine günstige und gute Alternative zu GoPro und co. Sie kann Videos mit 30 fps bei 4K oder 2,7K. Ich hatte mir anfangs Gedanken gemacht, wegen der geringen fps. Die Videos sehen aber sehr flüssig aus. Mit der maximalen Speicherkapazität von 64GB können ca 3:20 h Videos in 4K aufgenommen werden. Alternativ gehen Videos in 1080p mit 60 fps. Fotos gehen mit 20 MP. Es gibt einen Bildstabilisierer (ob oder wie gut diese funktioniert, kann ich nicht sagen), sowie eine Zeitraffer Funktion für Bilder und Videos. Der Akku hält laut Hersteller 90 Minuten. Das kann realistisch sein, wenn man das WLAN der Kamera nicht nutzt. Ansonsten ist der Akku mit WLAN Nutzung schnell platt. Es ist allerdings ein zweiter Akku dabei. Enthalten sind diverse Halterungen für Helme etc. sowie ein wasserdichtes Case. Dieses habe ich zum Schnorcheln verwendet. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es, weil keine Halterung für Unterwasser dabei ist und man das Display der Kamera durch das case schlecht sieht. Die Kamera hat leider auch keinen Zoom. Die Bilder und Videos können mit einer App über WLAN bequem auf das Handy übertragen werden. Wer eine Action Kamera für kleines Geld mit guten Funktionen sucht, ist hier richtig.
