very very nice knife for utility. cutting onion, tomatoes etc it is perfect.

The media could not be loaded.  Great fruit knife. My favorite for eating peaches. Super thin blade, even by Japanese standards. Stainless is great for cutting acidic foods because it doesn’t leave a metallic taste behind like carbon blade will.

This is a great knife at this price point. It easily cuts through meat, but it can also serve as a general utility blade in the kitchen if that's what your budget allows. There's a bit of flex in the blade, and it's size and angular handle make it easy to grip. Cleaning it by hand washing and drying immediately after use. It's also worth mentioning that it's even more attractive in person. If you're on the fence, please, have no qualms about purchasing this knife. You won't be disappointed.

Bought this for my brother, a chef who was looking for a compact slicer, specifically for slicing duck breasts and stuff like that in a small work area.Turns out he loves it, the super thin blade is a plus on tender meats. I also loved the unusual handle for this type of detail work, perfect instead of a beefy handle.The flexibility aspect is more of a knock-on effect of the thin blade, not what I bought it for. A filet knife is way more flexible.

Global makes terrific products and this knife is no exception. I suggest buying a ceramic "steel" to maintain this knife's razor sharp edge.

I love the fact that it is a flexible utility knife.. I am not sure why they are hard to come by.. but it is one of my favorite global knifes

This knife is extremely well-balanced and is a pleasure to use. It has joined my G-48, which is meant for morer dense vegetables like a cauliflower or a purple cabbage, and the super-efficienct G-9 bread knife. However, more than anything else, I'd recommend buying your Global knives from this vendor. The first time I ordered this knife from the vendor, it did not reach me. But the vendor got back and promised to refund the amount and said they would despatch the knife as soon as I placed a fresh order. With this I also ordered the G-9 breadknife. Both came in time as promised. Extremely good service. Well done!

I purchased this knife to extend the set my wife had as a gift along with 4 other knifes in the same range, they are all on display on a magnetic rail in the kitchen and look great, these knives are razor sharp and do the job perfectly, but what would you expect from a set of knives used by professional chiefs.RegardsMaurice form Aberdeen

Product was too good,very lightweight,comfortable and Sharp.

Unfortunately my husband cannot use this knife because he is left handed. Very disappointed.Right handed son will receive it as a Christmas present. Other left handers beware!
