Perfect for travel
I have a couple of these, always ready to go on the next trip. The shave is fine, the size is perfect for carry on. Battery operated so yo don't worry about running out of "juice" and for what they cost the quality is very good. It's also a good shaver for a touch up before going out for dinner. Sure it's not as good as my $300 Braun, but it's not incompetent either.

Nice shaver!
Compact, quiet, and sharp for a close shave. Using every third day and no problem with the hair growth only requiring 2-3 passes and most gone on the first! Appreciate the disposable battery option and still on my first set. Good value!

COMFORTABLE shave and surprisingly good battery life
Not a high-performance shaver, but it is pretty good for what it is. I would buy it again. I'll go ahead and give some details...STYLE: It's why I bought this model. It makes me want to find my old NES and play Super Mario Brothers lol! I appreciate you, Panasonic!COMFORT: Excellent. It's extremely gentle and doesn't give me any irritation. In fact, I would say it's more comfortable than a lot of other shavers because of the wide foil. It will still nip you if you press it onto your face, but you are not supposed to do that anyway!CLOSENESS: It's not really a close shave, as foil shavers go. On par with an entry-level rotary shaver, in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, it will cut your stubble and make you look clean-shaven, but there are other shavers that will make your face feel smoother.POWER AND SPEED: In terms of the time it takes to shave, it's about the same as other shavers I tried. The motor *seems* slow and not very powerful, probably because it is small and runs on AA batteries. But hey, it will still cut through a day's growth no problem.BATTERY LIFE: Surprisingly good. I am two weeks into ownership and haven't had to change batteries yet. I started with fresh Duracell alkaline AAs.CUTTING LONGER HAIRS: This shaver is meant to be used on short hair / stubble. If you want to cut longer hairs that lay down, then you need a shaver with a trimmer bar or a razor.NOISE: It's relatively quiet for a foil shaver. Louder than my rotary shaver though.SIZE: It's tiny! About half the size of an iPhone Mini. Here's a picture of it next to my toothbrush.

She be small, but she be mighty.
Mighty Mouse! I shaved with this little guy this morning and it did a great job for such a little razor. I have a fairly heavy beard, and this shaver would not be fun to shave with if I let a day go by without shaving. This shaver will not shave long hairs, nor should it be expected to. I got this because I've used Panasonic shavers for years and they do a good job for me. This shaver will be for traveling, and it is much smaller than any travel razor I've used. I expect it to have a couple of weeks of battery use in it, or more, like other Panasonic shavers have provided. I am going lighter and smaller in my luggage for traveling, and this shaver is a nice addition to this new approach. I don't give 5 stars often, but this little shaver deserves every one of them.

Great razor for the price but flops at cutting some hairs.
I wanted a very small but inexpensive battery-powered razor so I could take it backpacking, and this Panasonic AA battery-powered razor fits that need very well. It's small in height and width and it's very thin, plus it's lightweight, so it packs into my backpack extremely well.It shaves decent enough, it's not going to shave as close as a blade but shaves good enough. No electric razor, no matter what they advertise, can shave as close as a blade. I've owned large expensive rotary and foil razors and they simply cannot compete with a blade, and neither can this little Panasonic. Since the Panasonic only has one cutting foil, it will take several passes to get to chop the beard down, large triple foil razors do a better job, but still won't be as close as a blade. Foil-type razors do cut closer than a rotary type, not much closer but closer. So if you need something small for travel and or camping this is the perfect solution. My only quips about it is the foil blade cover, the cover is not very secure at all, and it came off inside my backpack, so I now put a rubber band over the top of the cover and around the razor to hold in place. The cost to do this minor correction would be very small, but this has been a problem with this razor for a very long time, and Panasonic knows about it but has refused to correct it. The other problem, which isn't a big problem, but they should have made this razor waterproof so a person could use it in the shower, or rinse it under running water, but they do include a brush, so you can brush the blade clean. The last quip is the brush, there should have been some way that the brush could attach firmly to the razor, instead, it's just loose, so the rubber band I use to hold the cover on also holds the brush against the body of the razor so I don't lose it. The brush already has a hole in the center, so why wasn't there a round male molded plastic plug sticking out of the rear face of the razor so that the brush would just press in firmly and stay in place? Those are minor quips, but all of them can be remedied cheaply, the only thing that might make the razor a tad more expensive is making it waterproof, but I think the added expense would be worth it, the other two shouldn't cost anything to make them work correctly so they don't get lost. That's why I gave the razor 4 stars, if they ever decide to fix those simple-to-fix issues it would get a 5-star rating. I can't take off anything for the closeness of the shave, because I knew when I bought it that a single foil wasn't going to cut as close as a 4 foil with far better blades like the Panasonic Arc 5 has.So, buy it for travel, buy it for camping, but don't buy it for everyday use thinking you're going to get a close shave for work, if you need that sort of shaver get the Panasonic Arc 5, or better yet buy a Rockwell 6C for an incredibly close and smooth shave.
