I bought this scooter because it was recommended for ages 6 and up. This scooter is stable and sturdy. The speed can be increased gradually, unlike the Razor scooters which take off at their maximum speed at the push of a button. Also, this scooter can go a little faster than the Razor. The down side: if your child wants to ride without the seat, you can remove the seat, but you are left with about a 3-inch pipe sticking up from the standing area of the scooter. This could be unsafe if the child falls onto it. That means this scooter is really only good for a child who wants to ride seated.

This is very low to the ground the clearance is about an inch

I’m actually very disappointed that I ordered pink and it came red also the directions were to dark to ready do assembly was a little difficult. Daughter likes it thankfully
