This is a very nice and sturdy cover. Locking mechanism at full closure is very secure. You’d have to be determined and prepared to get into it without a key. Everything is aluminum and of heavy gauge. The powder coat matte black is done well and looks very nice.All of that said, the main canister did arrive dented and scratched but not overly so. That’s to be expected with such a large heavy unit being shipped. Packing was adequate but more packing along the length of the canister would most likely stop this issue. It’s in the bed of a truck though, so there’s really no worry it’s going to see it’s fair share of scratches and dents.On installation, this is most certainly a two man job. I installed it by myself and it was a struggle. The main issues are the attachment of the rails to the canister and then lifting it into place. Specifically you need to pull the cover out of the canister and feed it into the rails before you slide them into place to mate with the through holes of the canister for attachment. Basically you need two sets of hands. This probably could be done by one person with clamps, a large elevated surface, and two hands on the rails with the canister upside down. With out that, it’s nearly impossible without using a foot or two. Then it becomes a moderately heavy awkward shape that is not easily lifted with control. After the rails are attached and it’s in the bed it’s a breeze. Bed rail clamps are nice thick blocks of aluminum with a straight forward adjustable design.Also do not forget to put to the front cover on before you clamp the rails to the bed or you’ll have to take all of them off to put it on. In my defense it started to down pour right after I got both rails on so I may have been in a hurry.Again, superb cover but learn from my mistakes.

I purchased this because I was going to be traveling and wanted something more secure than my vinyl Access Tonneau cover and it fits the bill. Easy one man installation with a bit of ingenuity. Took about and hour and 1/2 (if I didn't make a mental mistake would have been and hour) Works smooth and easy and is secure with locking feature. It does however leak a bit but not of great concern. Called Retrax customer service for a question and they were very responsive to my question and emailed me my information with in minutes. A bit pricey however.

I ordered this because the price was good, however once installed it would not seal properly in the back. I contacted the manufacturer and they did offer to replace the broken unit, but they said this item was sent out as a defective unit from the person I ordered from. Kind of disappointed after spending that much money, only to have to make phone calls and wait on replacement parts and pay someone a second time to install it.Order locally and avoid this problem.

What does spending almost $2000 get you? I will tell you what it doesn't get you:-Driver side rail-Passenger side rail-All the mounting hardware (screws, nuts, bolts, tools, etc.)-Wrong model coverI'm extremely disappointed with this order.

Received and installed 2 months ago... love it. I’ve had fiberglass tonneaus previously, and while they all have drawbacks, this Aluminum rolling tonneau is the most usable - in my opinion. It has a clean, flush/low profile design, easily retracts and closes, and is well made. Definitely would recommend.

Yes the cover looks and works great!The cover pictures those on the order page are a little misleading. I thought the racks were included but you actually need to get them separately. Picture is just to show it's compatible.
