I bought the 4-in-one pen (0.5mm point) for use at work. My work does not require a lot of writing, however I find that I use the green color far more frequently than the others. After only TWO WEEKS, the green color began what I presumed was "skipping". In astonishing actuality, the ink was DEPLETED and required replacement. The Blue color depleted before I could complete signing/addressing a box of 32 Christmas cards. The red and black colors are still in use after 6-8 weeks sporadic use. (Thankfully, I haven't noticed them drying out with time lapses in between use as others have reported.) BUT how efficient is a pen when the ink depletes after only 2 weeks use?YES , YES... it is totally DISAPPOINTING that I am subject to frequent, spontaneous "outages" of ink, and that I'm forced to stock up on FRIXION ink refills. HOWEVER I do applaud PILOT for developing an affordable ERASABLE fine point pen that writes smoothly, is comfortable-in-hand, is available in many colors/design configurations, and is accepting of ink refills. Time will tell with regard to my willingness to endure the expense and inconvenience of fast-depleting ink reserves.Not sure if I would recommend due to fast-depleting ink reservoirs.

So all pen/office supply dorks are extra. I have tried practically every brand, every kind of ink, every size and color. I'm the geek who used to carry tape, white-out, rubber bands and paperclips around...in addition to my 7 colors of ink and 6 highlighters. (Like I said, extra. But pen people know that when you find The One, you'll be there for life.) Having 4 of my colors in one cartridge is awesome, and HOLY LIFE-CHANGING MAGIC, BATMAN, this ink is EASILY ERASABLE!!! Like *TRULY* erasable. And you can immediately write over the same area with no weirdness/color change or bumpiness of white-out/correction tape. LOVE THAT!!! Was able to remove the pencil from my case, and that's fab.Loved this ink and erasability so much that I turned around and ordered another 4-click for my home office, plus 3 single colors. AND two sets of the erasable highlighters! Wanna rock my world, Pilot? Make a "Brights" 4-click retractable with pink, purple, orange and ...teal? bright green? inks and refills!I didn't give this fantastic pen 5 full stars for a probably-very-picky reason: the green ink is quite dull.I applaud the refillability, and plan to use this/these pens for years to come (and will keep my eyes peeled for 0.5mm refills of VIBRANT green ink, and that coveted BRIGHTS 4-click!

I really like this pen. Multicolored (red, green, blue, black) that you can erase is definitely something I’ll be using a lot. I just hope the ink lasts long for me before needing to get more refills like other reviews have said. I’m happy I can bring this one pen and have 4 colors to use for my planner. The size of the pen is a little thicker than usual pens, but for me, it’s still comfortable to use. The first time I used the each color, they all wrote out nice and smooth. I even tried erasing right after writing and it didn’t smear. Like most erasable pens I’ve tried (not so many lol) there are still very little remnants of the ink, but when writing over the area said I just ale tased, the ink still looks really good.My last two pictures I uploaded are the same thing. Only difference is one uses a flash while the other uses the light I had at my table.

I love Frixion pens ever since my last trip to Singapore. I have bought multiple types of them through the last two years. This one came in the mail a couple days ago and was eager to use it today.As opposed to the other ones that I have received, this particular one does not write. Perhaps the ink is all dried up. I am going to be requesting a refund or a replacement.

I absolutely love these pens! They are the best truly erasable pens I've ever used and having four distinct colors is always nicer than three! One con is that the ink does run out relatively fast but I love the pen so much that I don't mind and just have refills handy. One of the previous reviews said these were Chinese knock offs. I don't believe this is true. Pilot is actually a Japanese brand and the pen I received had Japanese labeling and branding (this may appear to be similar to Chinese). These may have been imported from Japan as opposed to marketed for the US. I think these are very authentic as they are the same quality as the three color version I bought from a bookstore in Narita international airport in Japan. I'm so glad I can buy these here in the US!Update: Do not leave this pen in a hot car in the summer! The heat activates the invisibility mechanism and all the ink will turn clear! It's a very interesting science experiment but not so great if you wanted to write something. I had to switch out a whole set of inks but I saved the invisible set in case I want to write a secret message. The color kind of comes back if you put it in the freezer.

I love this pen. I have not had it long so I do not know if the ink will be used up as quickly as some of the other reviews have stated. However, I am loving the pen! It write well and erases well. I love being able to switch colors. I wish that it came in pastel colors. But, I would definitely order again. Great value!UPDATE: I have been using this pen for 1 month now. I still love the pen. I have not experienced the problem with the ink being used up quickly as some of the other reviews stated. It still writes well and I use it everyday to write in my planner and keep notes on what I am working on. It erases well. I definitely recommend it.

Eraser works wonderfully.Hopefully will be smooth to do lots of writing.Debating a 2nd order. Would ideally like pen in another Color but that's just being pernickety.**UPDATE*it's taken 7days for the blue ink to run out so considering a singular erasable blue pen takes months of furious note taking etc to run out this is a bit disappointing.Still love the handy 4 (now 3)Color pen but re-thinking if I buy refills or just a pack of blue pens.
