Weber Replacement Thermometer 67088, Center Mount, 2-3/8" Diameter

Replacement Thermometer for my Weber Genesis. Previous unit had failed after around 10years of use. Straightforward to remove the old unit and replace with the new unit. Fits the way an OEM replacement should and uses the same bezel.

I noticed that my thermometer on my 15 year old Genesis grill only pointed south, so I knew it needed to be replaced. After a few quick searches, this one became evident as the best choice being an exact replacement at a fraction of the cost of original parts. Easy install and works perfect!

My old thermometer was shot after 5 years or service. It was reading much higher than the actual temperature. I ordered this exact OEM replacement for the one that came with the grill. Note that there are two nearly identical thermometers that fit into different Genesis grills. Mine has a small metal tab at the top of the unit that matches a hole in the existing bezel and front of the grill. The tap locks the unit into a vertical position so it can't spin around when tightening the nut or after installation. It's a good feature and while I think the one without the tab would fit, if you have the hole for it, get this one! If you are unsure if yours has the tab, just remove the existing thermometer and check to see if there is a piece of metal sticking out at the top of the back of the thermometer and a matching hole in the cover/top. It's really easy to replace, there is just one wing nut holding it on. I had to use a pair of pliers to get the old one off, but it was not too much trouble. Hopefully, this one will last just as long. I took off one star for value. This one is double the price of other knock-off replacements, but it is original Weber equipment so I assume it's worth it, especially after reading some of the reviews of the other units.

Perfect fit and thermometer works fine. It's a bit pricey compared to generics but I wanted an OEM part. Installation was easy using pliers on the existing wingnut.

Thermomètre d’origine a finalement rendu l’âme et il à fallu le remplacer. Nouveau trouvé sur Amazon. Pièce originale, pas contrefaçon. Remplacement très facile (merci Weber).
