ghdCurve Long Lasting Curling Wand Gift Set

Fantastic curlers, I have long, straight, stubborn hair that usually doesn’t hold curls for more than a few hours, these however lasted for two days (they did drop to more of a subtle curl/wave by the second day but still looked great!) so happy with them. Only advice- Bare with them, it’s taken me a few burnt fingers and attempts to get the best look but once you’ve mastered it they’re fab! Makes sure you wear a styling glove to protect your fingers as best you can!

This model of curling wand is very easy to use; it is lightweight, it comes with a long swivel cord to make it easier to style the back, it heats up in a matter of seconds, and it's easy to grip. For me I think the main difference between this and the many other curling tongs on the market is as the design is a wand without a tong (you get a thermal glove to protect your hand from burns), it's amazing how much of a difference this little alteration makes - with no clamp, there is no kink at the ends of your hair. On the other hand the gimmick for this curling wand is that it makes your hair look shiny when you style your hair with it, but my hair looks glossy after I've used any heated styling tool on it, so using this aspect as a selling point is a bit pointless in my opinion.I've had no problems with using my Curve, but I think that if your hair is shorter then shoulder length, it'd be very fiddly to wrap your hair around the barrel, and even then it may slip. So if you have shorter hair, you'll need to keep looking, I'm afraid. This wand comes with a heat resistant glove & mat, a paddle brush and two divider clips to help make styling even easier. I think that this set would make a great gift for yourself and for others, as not only is the quality great, but it is something that people into styling their hair will use every other day._I am very fond of my Curve set, but I honestly do think that I prefer something like the  Remington CI6219 Stylist Easy Curl . Don't get me wrong; this model is quite quick & easy to use, but I think that the Stylist Easy Curl is a little bit faster as it has a clip to hold my hair in place, so wrapping my hair securely round the barrel takes me less time. It's down to personal taste which model to go for - would you prefer perfectly formed curls, or something a little bit faster but less perfect curls?

The best curling wand I have ever used.At just under 100pounds this may seem a little expensive but you are getting a top quality product that is the best on the market.GHD really do make fantastic products and this wand is more proof of this.I love this Curling Wand and cannot recommend it enough.5 stars!

GHD are a top name in haircare utensils, and they don't disappoint here. The curling wand itself is very weighty, and it has a good grip so it won't slip from your hand. You also get a very nice hairbrush, with a metal base with ghd etched on it. Plus you get some hair separators that make it a bit easier when curling your hair. It all comes packed in a lovely box with a gold motif. Very nice.

This curling wand is like no other I have come across, the barrel is oval shaped and tapered allowing the hair to be styled in so many more ways than a regular styling wand.The presentation box looks very impressive so before even opening you know there is something special waiting inside. ghd are known for the technology they use in all their styling products. Three sensors on either side heat to a steady 185 degrees which they have decided is the ideal heat, enough to give last results without overheating the hair or having "hot spots" also it heats up in a matter of seconds. I think the styling glove that comes with this set could be tricky to use when doing one`s own hair, it only has a thumb and first two fingers covered. Thankfully we had one from another brand that protects the whole hand.There is a heat resistant tip on the end of barrel and being dual voltage means this set can be taken away on trips with just a travel adaptor.My daughter has tried it on her shoulder length hair and was very happy with the casual look she was able to achieve, holding the barrel in alternative directions helps give a less uniform look and the hair only needs to be in contact with the heat for a very short time to get curl. In all honesty it would work even better on longer hair that can be tied back for a more glammed up look. Despite this not heating to the high temperatures that other wand and tongs can it is essential to use a heat protective product before use, two very good clips are included in the set for holding back sections of hair securely. It also comes with a mat and a very good quality hair brush, once hair has cooled we thought it worked better by running the fingers through rather than brushing.This is a premium brand and would make a wonderful gift, it costs a pretty penny to have hair styled by ghd`s in our local hairdresser`s.

This will certainly be good for those with long locks, though handling needs to be careful and precise. The wand has no grip effect which of course is good for releasing the hair but it needs a bit more work to wrap the hair around it without it sliding off. The glove is essential to avoid burns. If you are confident in handling it, then this will do the job.

Il kit, pagato a prezzo speciale, è stato un acquisto molto conveniente. Ottima qualità ed accessori molto funzionali. I capelli rimangono davvero belli! Absolut tolle Locken entstehen durch die konische Form. Hier halten meine Locken ca. 2 Tage. Ich hatte früher ein günstiges Modell mit austauschbaren Aufsätzen, da haben die Locken nicht so toll ausgesehen und vielleicht eine halbe Stunde gehalten. Ich habe allerdings einen Sonderrabatt abgewartet. Bin aber sehr zufrieden und finde, der Lockenstab ist sein Geld wert.

Als erstes ist uns positiv die Verpackung und die Haptik ins Auge gefallen, diese war super.Habe das Lockenstab Set für meine Freundin bestellt, diese war hell auf begeistert von der Funktion, Handhabung und Haltbarkeit der Locken.Die Bürste, Klammern und die Thermomatte benutzt sich auch regelmäßig und ist damit super zufrieden.

Ich bin total verliebt in den ghd curler.Hab lange nach einem gesucht und lange überlegt ob eine günstigere Variante nicht auch in Frage kommen könnte...Defintiv! Kann nicht mehr ohne!
