This splitter was a trial device to run an FM tuner and a TV directly from a multiplexed down cable attached to a loft aerial through the non-multiplexed splitter unit. Unfortunately althought the TV picture was fine, it did introduce noise in the FM sound. The metal design, though was very pleasing. Having been disappointed at first, I put in a bit more work into my TV/FM radio reception(FM Radio 3 is superior to all other forms of its broadcast). The loft areal was realigned and, more importantly, I paid more attention to the coax couplers which always seem a bit loose on the centre pin. I stuffed aluminum foil in the improve the electrical contact; hey presto! proper silence in the gaps on R3 music programmes.

I am not tech genius so I was pleased this was so simple to use. Plugged it into the wall and then joined the two leads to that. No issue with fit or picture quality.

I have been having airial problems & found I needed to change the splitter.

Have finally got round to using this splitter. Utter waste of money, as signal after splitting is unusable. Would return if the window was still open
