Venom returns and spider-man goes to war with the ultimates
Ultimate Spider-Man has been my favourite series and this particular volume introduces amazing art work from Stuart Immonen. This volume is a must get for all spider-man fans. Plus the delivery was great. Book arrived in great condition.

Great story but has some Flaws
Anyone who has played the Ultimate spider-man video game [ like I have] will know that this Volume is Bendis working the story into Ultimate Universe Canon...and it is a great story primarily shown through Eddie Brock's [ aka Venom] Point of view the story is quite fast and fluent but if anyone is Expecting a direct adaption of the video game will be sorely Disappointed. Don't get me wrong nearly all of the Characters from the Video game appear aka Trask,Silver sable and Beetle etc etc are in the Book heck even Green Goblin makes a very small little Cameo [ and its not what you think]. It is an awesome story and you wont be let down when the Fight scenes happen. But the story Jumps around a lot from 6 months ago to 3 weeks ago this is mainly so Bendis can Include Characters such as Nick fury, But it can be quite hard to keep up with how fast it goes along but don't let this put you off the story is fantastic and a good conclusion/continuation? of the Ultimate Symbiote Story arc started all the way back at Ultimate Spider-man Volume 6.The art is Gorgeous and the twists and turns in the stories are fast and fun. a must buy for a Ultimate spider -man fan !!!

Venom returns
I was starting to wonder what the Ultimate series were going to do for plot lines, as it seemed they had killed off most of the villians in previous volumes, but it appears that some we thought dead have returned. Though Peter believes Venom to be dead, he is very much alive and blames Peter for the way his life has turned out and is looking for revenge. However Peter isn't the only one that has to fight Venom, the Beetle makes his first appearance in the Ultimate series as a very deadly foe who Spiderman and Venom are both beaten by. This volume seems to be just a build up for an even bigger plot line that I am looking forward to reading in later series.Well worth getting.

I liked them back then
I came across these comics by chance when I was little. I liked them back then, the art was really good and I tried to find them again but couldn't. It wasn't until recently that I started collecting them again. I had gotten the game and loved it and while I expected a difference between the game and this vol. I didn't expect it to be as bad as it is. The art is awful and the story is lame. The art is far to cartoonish and isn't even worthy of being held up to Disney's version of Ultimate Spider-Man and at the end Venom, who is supposed to be a major and feared villain for Spidey, looks like a rat. A freaking RAT! I know that they quite making this series a long time ago but I am beyond disappointed with this and will never buy another comic with the art done by Stuart Immonen.
