great to see the original fireman sam i use to watch as i child. Now get to show it to my nephew

and keeps me sane as not as loud as the new cartoon version of Fireman SamJohn Alderton does all the voices and it's nice and gentle to listen to - my little boy is happyto watch and i can get on with some housework. Paid for 2-5 day delivery but received next day which was great too!

If this was a VHS tape then it would be in the bin as it would have been played too many times to work again. I have tried to wean my boy off this by putting other disks on but he keeps saying. I want fireman sam on. His favourite episode is the one with bellas cat. I blinkin hate that cat..... aaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrggggg Im loosing the plot i can see the dvd in my mind now and that cat........... If you wanna keep your young one entertained then purchase this.......

My 3 yr old LOVES LOVES LOVES this dvd. (His career goal has been "fireman" for over a year now.) I love stop-action animation anyway, and this series is another sweet Welsh addition to our collection. Personally, I find the new computer-generated animation much much too busy. This style is wonderful, and if I could get additional programs from the ORGINIAL series, I'd definitely purchase as many as they would bring out.Great kid entertainment!

At first I wasn't too sure about this dvd and I don't think my 3 year old was too as it is quite slow and the animation is quite primitive (what's with the children's massive feet and the felt hands?!!) but it really grows on you and my son is addicted to it! I love the fact that my son can enjoy something that was around when I was small too.

Our Grandson is fireman sam crazy and would watch this all day long he is only 3 however he says he is a fireman he sings the song to anyone who will listen good value and worth buying from amazon

My son had one of these but he scratched it and was so upset I bought a replacement. Well worth the money to get the peace and quiet whilst he is engrossed in this dvd, ideal as a pre-bedtime slow down!Lovely classic Fireman Sam in delightful stories.Brilliant.
