Dorco is the BEST QUALITY with 75% Lower Prices & FREE 2-Day Shipping! I'm Addicted for YEARS now!
Let me make it clear that I DO order my Dorco razor products directly from Dorco, but I have attached a photo showing my last order (a few days ago) that included 3 full units, several refills, and even a special razor pack for my son and everything in the attached photo cost me LESS THAN $45.00. It's amazing. I typically order once per year (in bulk) and spend hundreds less than buying similar/less advanced razors in-store for triple or even quadruple the cost. These razors (Dorco) are who supplies the Dollar Shave Club. Except that you spend an average of at least 60% less than the Shave Club for the SAME razors. Oh....and did I mention that their "free shipping" option whether for one razor or a bulk supply STILL ships FREE and arrives in less than 2 days?? That's not a bonus or based on spending a certain amount, either. The latest deal direct from Dorco was "$20 off of any $50 purchase" and trust me....if you are spending $50 there....you are funding you, your mate, and any kids for at least 6 months to a year easily. And with the discounts...you're spending about $30 per 6 months with FREE 2 day shipping (but I swear it arrived less than 2 days direct from Dorco). They are AMAZING. Which is why I'm writing the review here instead of on their site. The razor pictured is what I use for specific lady-parts, but I ordered the complete Pace 7 set, This set, a 3 pack of the 6-blade razors with shaving cream built into the base (for my young son who is growing a kinda-mustache) plus refills for my Pace 6, my boyfriend's Pace 6 PLUS trimmer, AND refills for the razor pictured as well as extras for my Pace 7 that is their most expensive product (sans the "power" version of the Pace 7 which I find unnecessary). These guys are AMAZING!!!! I have been buying in small bulk (ie: family size) from them for 2 years and I can't believe how much money I've saved. Go get one high end Venus or Gillette in a store and then spend $14.00 on a 3 pack of refills? No. I get 7 Blade Razors, 6 Blade Razors with trimmers, a "Lady" 6 Blade, a "Lady Pace 6", plus THIS Pace 6 which is slightly different from the other plus several packs of refills for under $50 and it arrives for FREE in less than 2 days. They are ALWAYS running promos and deals that are incredible. This one was $20 off of $50. They also had a $10 off of $30 (still free 2 day shipping). These razors are SO much better than the Venus, the Gillette, or any other expensive razor you've purchased in store and likely paid $20 for a refill pack of 4 blades. Not here! The photo I'm attaching shows exactly what I got for less than $50 with free 2 day shipping that spans the 2 guys in my house as well as my lady blades and the "men's blades" that I use. It's SO cheap and the blades are all so much better than what you get from stores and clubs. Dorco supplies ALL of the blades to the Dollar Shave Club except rebranded and hiked up about 50% to 70% through the subscription. Please keep in mind that when you order directly from Dorco, there is NO minimum and you don't have to buy in bulk to get the 2-day Free Shipping. I ordered a bunch of razors and blades this past time and then forgot my son's "new" facial hair growth and ordered $10 in razors for him separately that are 6 blade razors with shaving cream built right into the base for easy use (3 of them that are disposable) and even that small order was still free 2 day shipping. They arrived at once in less than 2 days and on top of that....they included a FREE tube of shaving cream that retails for over $7.99 on their site for free as a gift. This website and all of their razors are amazing! It's saved me actual HUNDREDS of dollars since I've used them and they are better quality than what you buy in stores or from shave clubs. I have 4 separate razors that I use for different body parts and STILL save money. My son now has 3 razors with 6 blades and built in cream for his new mustache. These make me laugh at the fact that I used to pay $14.99 for 3 refill blades on a Venus or Schick or Hydro when I can now spend $50 or less on more than one year's worth of separate razors AND refills AND high quality creams and don't even have to worry or think about it because I know they'll have deals. The razor in the photo is just one of the three I use. I use the men's Pace 7 on my legs and delicate areas, the Lady Pace 6 for all other areas, and this Pace 6 (green) for in between areas. Did I mention that you can interchange the heads on any of these razors if you happen to have the refills and the base and/or the base and the refills? They're fabulous enough that I HAD to post on Amazon because whether you're ordering them from Dorco.com directly (which I recommend for the always-ongoing promos) or whether you order them on Amazon....you will save about 75% per year even if you only use the best of the best. They are the best razors out there. And since I didn't purchase them here, my photo shows that I DO purchase them regularly for several years now and also shows what an "under $50 with free 2 day shipping" order looks like from them, regardless of what style/blade/men/women (etc) you choose from. These have saved our faces, legs, and other regions from the costly price of high quality razors and refills at outrageous prices in stores. My personal favorite for *women* is the *men's* Pace 7. It smooths all curves and lasts and lasts. My boyfriend prefers the Pace 6 PLUS that has 6 blades plus a trimmer on the back. For full body shaving *as a lady* I prefer THIS Pace 6 or the regular Pink Pace 6 for full leg, body, face, and delicate shaving. And these aren't cheap plastic. This razor as well as the Pace 6 PLUS, Pace 7, and Pace 6 Lady are all metal and solid without the cheap plastic feeling. If you've been buying from clubs or buying in-store and groaning at the prices....this will delight you beyond belief. Try all of them. Get a "try it pack" (which they have tons of) and you'll still save money. Dorco is freaking amazing and here's our 6 month purchase for 3 people in one household (1 woman and 2 men) for less than $50 total in the photo. Buy it! Omg....I can't recommend enough!

DORCO PACE 6 PLUS RAZOR SYSTEM
My background, I have been shaving for 50 years, wow, I'm an old dude. I have used Schick, Gillette & other razor brands, very recently including Personna & DorcoUS brands as well as many different types of razors: 1) double blade safety razors. While in the Army, one time I even shaved without the safety handle which I strongly do not recommend. Also while in the Army I was forced to "dry" shave, once again I also strongly do not recommend, as lots of nicks & irritated skin, but this was way better than just the hand held razor blade. Overall I don't reccomend the Army period. People you don't know, try to kill you; 2) I then tried electric shavers, one a triple headed "Norelco" also a "Remington" electric with a "micro shield" & both resulted in skin rash; 3) I used many brands of double edged saftey razors, including, Gillette "Trac II & Sensor 2 blade & they seemed a big improvement; 4) I used Gillette Trac 3 & Trac 3 Turbo for decades, but recently Costco introduced a Gillette Trac 3 "Signature" razor instead of Turbo Trac 3sthat I think is a reduction in quality, lessened quantities & an increase in price. This was the reason I decided to check other razor systems; 5) before this, I had tried two brands of double blade cartridges, then after this a friend told me of Dorco Pace 2 & I also saw Personna 2 bladed razors advertised, so I tried them as Gillete 2 bladed razors were too hard to find & too expensive; 6) after this attempted rip off by Costco, I also tried Dorco Pace 3; 7) next I tried Dorco Pace 4; 8) then I tried Schick Hydro with 5 blades. I did not try Gillette Fusion, 5 blade as they seem too expensive, also I did not try Harry's 5 blade as I felt finding a razor shouldn't be such a hassle; 9) FINALLY I did, however, try these Dorco Pace 6 Plus with a trimming blade & the size of the razor cartridge is humongous which can make it difficult if you shave your upper lip which is not an issue for me, since I sport a moustache. As for how many shaves per cartridge, they seem to last a couple of weeks, for me; 10) I also tried Dorco Pace 7, wow, seven blades! & the only Dorco razor I had yet to try. I was concerned with clogged blades & over priced gimmicks, thus I'd never tried a manual shaver that needs a battery & this was also the reason I kept using the Trac 3s. If you're still reading, you realize my evaluation could have been be skipped over until I typed "finally" in upper case. I wet shave as instructions suggest & as I usually do, except for the Army punishment ordeal & when I used electric razors. After these too numerous razor trials, I think these Dorco Pace 6 Plus razors give the best results for the cost. These 6 blade Dorco also have a trimming blade on the opposite side. These Dorco Pace 6 Plus are the best shaving system I've used regardless of cost. I do a wet shave prep as I haven't had to play Army for 45 years, so no dry shaving in the field & don't think I'll ever be drafted again. I & Dorco advise to not use too much shaving cream or gel after prepping. I also rinse often while shaving. I even clean my razors with a "Water Pic" after use before returning them to their holders. I'm attentive while shaving & go with & then against the 'grain'. I then rinse the area shaved with cool water & lastly apply a soothing cream. I use 1% hydrocortisone & I never get nicks or irritated skin. My shaves are close enough that there's no insultation against cold until stubble returns, so consider yourself warned if you need to expose yourself to cold weather. Disclaimer, I received nothing for this review except discovering a very good razor system that is very good for satisfying, economical shaves. I hope this helps you decide what razor system works best for you & you don't have to spend the time or money that I did to gain this info. Cheers

Very good razor and value.
Update: After using this razor for about 10 days, I've decided to upgrade my review from 3 to 5 stars for the following reasons: 1. After the initial shave, I have not noticed any more skin irritation. I'm not sure if it was the new sharp blade or the difference in razors, but it's no longer a factor. 2. Price: the comparable Gillette product is at least double the price of this razor, and although I still believe Gillette has an edge (no pun intended), the end results are just as good, so it doesn't justify the price difference. 3. Customer service: This company reached out to me after reading my original review (which wasn't bad/3 star), to offer another product that may suite me better. It's refreshing to see a company so concerned about customer satisfaction and willing to stand behind their product (it's rare these days). So they earned an additional star for customer service, and another for value; although the price difference alone is worth 2 stars. Just to clarify what I mean by Gillette having the edge. The Gillette razors have more range of motion in their pivoting head. This is nice, but after a few shaves with the Dorco, it's not a big factor. Also, the lubricating strip on the Gillette is more noticeable and effective, but not a necessity on either razor. In every other way the two products are very similar, including the quality of shave, and functionality. The other differences come down to personal preference. Original review: It's an okay razor for the price, but you get what you pay for. It can't match Gillette in terms of quality, features, and ergonomics. The handle appears to be good quality, but the mechanism that attaches the head to the handle could be better. I've been using the Gillette Mach 3 (3 blades) which is a better razor in my opinion. I did get a good shave with this razor, but the pivoting head has a very limited range of motion, and the ergonomics are not as good as the Mach 3, also my skin felt a little more irritated than usual. I only bought this six blade version because it was a lightning deal, six blades seems like overkill to me. When I finish these, I will try the 3 or 4 blade version to see how I like them. If not I will go back to the Gillette.

Smooth shave without the crazy cartridge prices
I’ve been using the Dorco Pace 6 Pro for a little while now and honestly I’m impressed for the price. The six blade setup sounded gimmicky at first, but it actually gives a very smooth shave without irritating my skin. The handle has a solid feel and the cartridges rinse out easier than some bigger name brands I’ve used. I’ve got fairly sensitive skin and this razor did surprisingly well around my neck area with very little razor burn. Pros: Smooth shave Comfortable grip even with wet hands Blades seem to last pretty well Good value compared to premium brands Cons: Cartridge head is a little bulky under the nose Lubrication strip wears faster than the blades Overall I’d definitely buy these again. Good everyday razor if you shave regularly and don’t want to spend a fortune on replacement cartridges.

Not cheap. Just inexpensive.
I wanted to try this razor for the same reason so many others did. I was looking for a more reasonable alternative to the insanely overpriced products from the major brands here in the US. I first tried the 4 blade version of Dorco's razor that is sold from Dollar Shave Club and it was pretty good. It gave me just as good a shave as the Schick Hydro 3 I was using before that. It didn't come quite as close as using a good old fashioned DE safety razor but I don't always have the patience to go at the slower pace necessary to use it properly. So I decided to purchase this and give it a shot. I was expecting a shave on par with other cartridge razors I used before where it isn't quite as close as a DE and irritates the skin a bit too. I was amazed that this was the first cartridge razor I have ever used that actually shaved almost as good as my DE razor. I would still give the slight advantage to the safety razor when it comes to closeness but my skin was practically free of irritation and it shaved very quickly. But then again with 6 blades it better do the job in the first pass or two or else your skin will not be happy. I didn't really use the trimmer blade on the back of the cartridge so I can't comment on that but I have found them to be, for the most part, rather useless on other razors that have the same feature. Aside from the blades being very good the handle is quite comfortable to hold too. I found the one that came with the 4 blade package to be a little too curvy for me and it felt awkward in my hand. The 6 blade handle is more straight with much more subtle curves to make it a little more balanced. The handles and blades are all interchangeable though so use whatever combination works best for you. Listen, some guys just enjoy the task of shaving and see it as a rite of manhood. That's fine and I don't fault any guy who feels that way. For those men a safety razor or even a straight razor is the way to go. I don't particularly look forward to shaving and would like to get it over with as quickly and efficiently as possible. I will admit I do still use a badger brush and a good quality shave soap because the canned stuff does tend to irritate my skin and just feels too slimy to me sometimes. Mitchell's Wool Fat shave soap is my personal favorite and I rarely use anything else. But DE shaving requires patience I admittedly just do not have and the handful of times I tried a straight razor it looked like I got clawed in the face by a grizzly bear. If you share my sentiments on shaving then give this razor a try. If I have learned anything it is that shaving is a trial-and-error process. Every guy has different skin, whiskers, contours, expectations, etc. What works for me may work for you and it may not. I really like this razor. It worked very well on my relatively thick beard and somewhat sensitive skin. Try it and hopefully it will work for you too.

Excellent. Exceeded my expectations.
I've always been on a mission to reduce the cost of my shaving, as I am a bit of a cheapskate. Still, I appreciate and am willing to pay for good quality. Hence, I will not use the cheap plastic low-price razors that come in the bulk bags. Previously, I had used the Gillette Fusion, but found that the Schick Hydro 5 was less expensive but also provided an excellent shave. This still is not a low priced razor -- just less so than the Fusion. I've lived with a tension between my need for a good shave (and I have a sensitive face) and my dissatisfaction with paying so much for it. Now, I find stellar reviews for the not-well-known Dorco Pace 6 Plus on some of the shaving websites and a much lower cost. Trusting those glowing reviews, I decided to take a chance and order this value pack. Wow. It feels incredibly smooth on my face -- going right through quite a bit of stubble with no resistance, leaving a clear path, and no irritation. I've used this first blade for three weeks so far and it still feels good and sharp -- I'm meticulous about drying the blade well to reduce corrosion and make it last a while. The Fusions didn't last so long, though I was getting about a month out of each Schick. I will at least get a month out of each of these, if not a bit more. I don't notice that this blade is anything short of being at least as good as the Schick. At just a bit more than half the cost per blade, I've found a significant cost reduction without compromising the quality of my shave. Now I'm on the prowl for good shaving cream/soap/butter/foam/gel/whatever. I've been using the Schick or Gillette gels, but recently found the unscented/uncolored Nivia which seems slightly superior to those others for maybe a bit more money. I'd love to use one of the really expensive creams or butters which are rated extremely well on the shaving sites, but I can't bring myself to spend $8-15 for a tube. I'm wondering if there is something of comparable quality for around $4 or less... The cheapskate in me is yearning for it. Back to this set -- I recommend it without reservation. You will need to buy replacements in bulk, but over the long run you will save a lot of money and won't sacrifice your shave.

Decent but not as lubricating or long-lasting as expected
I'm a long-time Dorco Pace 6 customer and finally ran out of the old, single lubricated blades. I was excited to see they had a new double-lubricated blade, as razor burn can be an issue for me. Quality: Unfortunately, this new double-lubricated blade does not seem to last as long as the old, single-lubricated blades. I get maybe 4-5 decent shaves out of the new ones compared to 6-8 on the old blades. The new blades get clogged up fast after that and there's no rinsing them clean (like the old ones, but those lasted longer). I don't feel like the double lubrication adds much. It does not provide substantially better protection against razor burn. Honestly, it feels more like a sales gimmick than a well thought out feature. Compatibility: The blades fit any Dorco shaver handle but these new cartridges do not fit older Dorco Pace 6 trays. Packaging: Unlike the old Dorco multi-packs, this packaging is sturdy with no wasted boxes inside boxes; all the cartridge trays are stored perfectly inside the box it comes in. While that might be better for the environment, it forces me to keep a big box hanging around my bathroom when the old multi-pack "bricks" were much more compact for storage My Overall Impression: I feel like the quality has gone down slightly. Maybe not enough to make me stop buying, but enough to make me consider other options if I come across them. To be fair, this isn't a bad item, but it's not going to win any awards either.

Give the Pace 6 a try
I've been shaving for over twenty years and have used all kinds of razors. If you're thinking about buying this razor you should give it a try. It is priced right so you don't have much to lose. At first I thought 6 blades were overkill. I had already tried the Pace 3 and Pace 4 and liked them both. So I wanted to try the razor that appeared to be Dorco's best effort. The 6 blades do not irritate my skin. There seems to be something about the design that protects the skin from irritation, but I can't explain it. They are very good for mowing down thick stubble. I find I can rinse it off less frequently because those 6 blades just keep doing the job. They don't drag, just glide. I can even shave with slower strokes and they just glide through the stubble. They never get clogged even when I am using a thick pre-shave oil. They always rinse clean with ease. I've had other razors clog up, but not these. The blades also give this great audio feedback when the stubble is being cut. So when I'm in the shower stall and using a clear cream like Cremo, I can hear what is going on even if it is hard to see. I love this feature. The trimmer works great. It takes a little getting used to (as all new razors do) but I find it works better then the Fusion. I found the original Fusion trimmer clogged up bad. This trimmer doesn't clog. Once I got used to the angle and pressure needed, it worked very well. I have a thick coarse beard and have used this razor 10 times and it is still shaving like new. I predict I will get many more shaves out of this first cartridge. Also I believe that a shave with any razor will be bad if you don't prep your skin well. The right products and technique will make the most difference in a shave. But even in the instances when I didn't have time for a hot shower, pre-shave oil, premium cream or any of the nice things a home shave gets me, this razor performed well enough. A quick spash of hot water in the sink, and some canned shave gel still got the job done without incident. So the razor passed the test even in my worst case scenario of shaving. If there are any negatives about this razor I would say it is the size of the cartridge. The trimmer solves most of the size issues. However sometimes shaving around the curve of my chin the rubber guard and lubrication strip wouldn't make contact with my skin and the razors would be the only part making contact and nick. Yet I got used to it very quickly and am not having an issue with it. As with any new razor, I find as I got more used to the razor the shaves got better and better. My recent shaves have all been nick free and very close.

A good alternative to the usual
I used to buy direct from the Dorco website. Unfortunately they got sued and had to close down the ability to order on their site...at least for North American countries. This set cost more, and came all the way from Israel, but I refuse to buy blades from companies that participate in the destruction of our western culture...Gillette I'm looking at you more than anyone else. I also switched to a straight blade...wish I had done that way sooner. These blades (Dorco Pace 6 Plus) are used for cleanup, or if I'm in a rush. Awesome product, and I really like that one trimmer blade.
