Only downside is they run hot. After 30 min the entire case is above 108 degrees F according to my thermal probe gun. Not a good idea for bedrooms or any medium size room unless you have vaulted ceilings. Plenty bright, they don't use an efficient bulb. LED doesn't put off anywhere near this much heat. You must use the mounts because they will leave a mark on whatever you place them on, they are too hot to hold after 2 hours. Great coverage, I'd say they'll work with a 18x25 room no prob. You can go larger of you don't need it to be too bright, like a skate rink or dance floor. They might be intended for commercial use so pardon my heat comments if that's the case.

We have "glow nights" at our Awana Clubs and use these to light up the room. The kids absolutely love it! These lights are easy to use and work great!

I was debating between this and UV LED flood lights but I ultimately chose to buy this. It seems to better suit my purposes. As I have UV reactive items scattered across the room I prefer that the intensity isn't that strong and the output better spread out. The flood light versions have a high intensity at the center with output dropping off near the sides.The 5' cord and on/off switch are also useful. The floodlight comes with a short cord meaning you'd have to connect it to a 3 prong extension cord or have it located close to an outlet. It also did not have an on/off switch making it less convenient to selectively power on. The last reason I chose this over flood lights is the way it stands. Both are probably meant to be permanently mounted but as I'm doing temporary gigs, that's not as convenient to use. Having this sit on various surfaces and being able to point the light is fantastic. The flood light has no such option since it's top heavy and doesn't have a proper stand. These light bars do. The output is consistent and even though our eyes aren't truly adjusted to view UV light, it sure looks bright. Reactive items look quite bold and stand out incredibly. Getting 3 unit as oppose to 2 for a similar price is a better deal.

First of all, these UV lights look AMAZING. Even one seems to cover a pretty solid surface area and gets pretty good glow from UV reactive surfaces.Construction seems pretty great, all metal housing and feet for install. Finned on the back to help dissipate heat.Mainly chimed in with a review as I was initially a bit concerned about the heat, as it definitely feels warm and borderline hot to the touch after running for more than 15 minutes. After doing some research, I did see that it was pretty common for LEDs to get ~50-60 degrees Fahrenheit hotter than room temperature. Took some surface temperature readings after running for a couple of hours in a 75 degrees Fahrenheit room, and seemed to read right within that range.That said with that in mind, I'd be diligent about where you mount or place these things.All in all, a great purchase for less than twenty bucks a light, can't wait to get the other ones up!

We loved these lights in my classroom and kids church activities. Easy to set up, they were small so storage was easy. The cord length was decent!
