Helps protect fish and decrease build up on main filter material, and can give another area for beneficial bacteria to grow. This one is large enough to slide over the little baskets at the end of your uptake tube. See pics and measurements since the seller and Amazon didn’t think this was important enough to list. High quality and thick, medium filtration degree.

Use filter for overflow box in 125G tank

This is the best deal around for these. Each are packaged exactly as their shown. There is definitely quality here. I have a feeling these will last quite a while.
