Heroclip Small

So handy! It’s one of those things you probably don’t need super often, but when you need it, you need it. I like that it can be used as a regular carabiner too. Sturdy. A budget-friendly must-have for travel. I’d buy one of these for every bag I own if it made financial sense to do so. It’s one of those things you will want to have on you every time you go out, but remembering to transfer it from bag to bag is a challenge. This happened to me the other day. I needed it at a restaurant, but it was on another bag I had used previously. So it’s frustrating. Having multiple would be ideal, but I just can’t convince myself to buy duplicates.

I know it might seem silly to get so excited about a clip, but the GEAR AID HEROCLIP is seriously one of those things you don't realize you need until you have it. I originally bought the small one when my son was a baby to clip his diaper bag to things when we were out and about. You know, those restrooms that inexplicably don't have hooks? This clip was a lifesaver! Now that my son's a bit older, it's found a new home on his daily carry bag. He uses it to clip his water bottle, his lunch bag, even his jacket when he gets too warm. It's just so versatile! I love how sturdy it is. Even the small size can hold a surprising amount of weight, and the rubber tip keeps things from slipping. The 360-degree swivel hook is also super handy – it makes it easy to access whatever you've clipped to it. It's compact and lightweight, so it doesn't add any bulk to his bag. And the fact that the hook folds neatly into the carabiner when it's not in use is a nice touch. If you're looking for a simple but incredibly useful tool, the HEROCLIP is a must-have. I absolutely love my hero clip. I throw one on each of my bags. My girlfriend even has one on her stroller. The difference between a hero clip. And a regular carabiner is the swivel style Hook that comes out. This swivel styled hook allows you to either hang the bag on different surfaces, including a flat desk. Or you can hang stuff from the hook itself. When we use it attached to the stroller, my girlfriend will hang her purse from it. You can hang your bag on a table at a bar/restaurant, one of my favorite pieces of EDC gear. I always have one on me. They come in different sizes and can support different weights ranging from 35 to 50 pounds. Fantastic quality carabiners for EDC, definitely worth it.

Expensive but so useful for travel as it does everything a caribeaner cab plus a few extra tricks like hanging your bag off the bathroom stall door if there's no built in hook or it's broken off. I've taken this on one trip with multiple airports and connecting flights so far and it's been so handy. I didn't actually didn't encounter any bathroom stalls missing their hooks yet which I originally expected to be the primary use but I ended up using the clip in other ways anyway. I used it to hook my water bottle to hang off the seat in front of me on the plane. My backpack doesn't have a trolly strap but I was able to clip the loop on top to the handle bar of my suitcase to keep it upright and secure as I was rolling along in the airport or standing in line freeing at least one hand up. I wish maybe that I had gone up to the Medium instead of the small for a slightly wider opening to clip onto larger things more easily but the small size is compact and fairly unobtrusive attached to a backpack and or purse and still vary capable.

The design and quality of this heroclip are excellent. I find that size Small is already quite big. Size medium would be too large for storage. I bought it to add it to my EDC gears. However, so far, I have not run into many opportunities to use it. The biggest dilemma is that for size small, the hook is often not wide enough to accommodate a table of normal thickness. For chairs, my sling bag's strap can already do the job of handing my sling bag. It does work in restroom. But 70-80% of the restrooms I went to , the hooks on the door were intact meaning there is no need to use the hook feature of heroclip. So overall, if you just want to use it has a hook, there might not be many opportunities to use for city lives. I can see that it will have a lot more use for outdoor activities. It is not the problem of the product itself, it just depends on lifetyle.

I noticed a friend has one of these on his bag. I happened to be looking for a carabineer for my duffle after my last trip. He raved about it and demoed it, so I ordered mine the same day. It held the bag on the end of the table and he praised the good quality. I've put mine on my camera/travel bag and it holds pretty well. It also seems like a good option to hook under my tripod to quickly attach a counterweight. It's a bit expensive for a carabineer, but has some many useful applications especially when traveling.

Bought the small size to hang my Osprey Daylite sling/pack. Feels incredibly sturdy and is super easy to use and works just as you would dream! Such a perfect design! Small is still pretty large, so if you really need a small sized one and don’t need the weight rating I would highly recommend to get the mini.

Ich nutze den Heroclip seit knapp einem Monat regelmäßig an meinem Fotorucksack und er hat sich bei verschiedenen Wanderungen wirklich bewährt. Die Idee dahinter ist simpel aber durchdacht, und die Umsetzung überzeugt. Der Karabiner lässt sich schnell und sicher einhängen, sitzt fest und wackelt nicht. Ich hänge damit unterwegs verschiedene Kleinigkeiten an den Rucksack, was die Handhabung auf Tour deutlich angenehmer macht. Die Größe Small ist dabei kompakter als gedacht, aber für leichtere Gegenstände absolut ausreichend. Die Verarbeitung wirkt solide und robust, nach einem Monat regelmäßigem Einsatz in der Natur zeigt er keinerlei Verschleißerscheinungen. Wer einen zuverlässigen und vielseitigen Karabinerhaken für den Alltag oder die Outdoor-Tour sucht, liegt hier gut.
