This beautiful sock yarn from Malabrigo is spun from the finest merino wool and kettle dyed in Uruguay to produce colourful and sumptiously soft skeins - and they are superwash too! Malabrigo Sock Yarn is 100% merino wool and washable by hand or by a gentle machine wash. One 100g ball is enough to make an adult size pair of socks or gloves, but why limit yourself to socks and gloves! Larger needles recommended for lace effects. The skeins have the subtle variations in colour and texture only hand dyed yarns have and all the soft sensuality of a good handspun yarn. As with any hand dyed yarn, there can be significant shade differences between skeins within a dye lot, so we recommend that you alternate skeins every few rows, to prevent striping.
