does this have a bag in the box, or is it just cardboard? wanting to reduce my plastic footprint.

If there is no plastic bag, and the box breaks open in shipment, I’d imagine you’d be more upset with having to clean up that mess. When it happens, pray it’s not raining... in the meantime, like the other fella said, put the bag in the recycle bin. You’ll thank yourself later for it. Peace!
